So, we’re still relying on THEM for this information about their identities. We only have these reports IF they choose to file them. How many have gone unreported? How many details have been redacted, falsified or just plain left out? We only get the info they give us. Imagine how much is missing.

The world has never seen true democracy and likely never will. What we have at best are constitutional republics with different types of representation which could and should also be discussed on a regular basis. As long as we have an electoral college (not to mention systems that love power) and a 2 club system, it will remain all or nothing and quite bi-polarized but we can’t talk about that except in blips when elections aren’t going their way. Not to mention how nothing was ever done about the patriot act (or espionage act) because again, they all use it to their advantage. Expect more of this cat and mouse charade of taking advantage of undocumented people, while obfuscating ideologues keep eyes off the ball. Both so-called sides obscure the truth as they see fit. Both also love authority and scapegoats (and masks) when it tows their line/narratives. If the other so-called side had worked on a proper refugee status and screening when they had majority status, the excuses that led to this perhaps could have been mitigated, but keeping people dependent and stirred up is also something both so-called sides have in common. “Journalists” simply decide what to disseminate and are quite profit driven.

It truly seems they could just be using these tactics of using para-military and excessive force on “illegal immigrants” with a few citizens and protesters to condition people for using it solely against citiens who do not comply with the regime in the future. That is one of the reasons this freaks people out, because even if they don’t think of that possibility, it triggers their spidey senses. We have a wannabe dictator and his cronies in charge. re: the sights on the rifle, the sights are a 1x holo, and a (probably) 2x magnifier. not quite as extreme as winson makes out. the magnifier can be pivoted out of the way of the holo if you don’t need the magnification. it’s a pretty common set up on rifles, as long as you have the money to do it.
not really concerned about any of that, as much as we should all be concerned about the fact that they are packing rifles at all.

Honestly I’m very surprised there has not been any incidents of ICE being ambushed yet. With their tactics it’s not a matter of if, but when. You can only push people so far before you get the pushback. I hope we do not see another tragedy because of all of this, but it feels inevitable.
