Specs are great, price is a bit too spicy. I expected 350 to 400. Also game prices is off the charts now. It needs new games to make people buy this..

    • @constantin-X

      April 7, 2025 at 11:00 am

But if you look at Switch 1 launch price and correct it for inflation, it’s about 390$ today. So, that price jump is not that crazy

  2. @cletp758

    April 7, 2025 at 9:48 am

Why ppl comparing the new switch to the 1st. The Oled would be a better comparison to those who considering if it’s worth upgrading.

    • @Jrflipped

      April 7, 2025 at 12:05 pm

Because besides the screen all versions of the switch 1 are the same

    • @Gle-lv2fm

      April 7, 2025 at 12:14 pm

Why would I compare it to the OLED if I don’t have the OLED?

  3. @FireoftheRedSun55

    April 7, 2025 at 10:05 am

The OLED is going to be about $600 base.

ANYBODY elses switch just randomly start “acting up” coincidentally right before switch 2 launch.

    April 7, 2025 at 11:26 am

    Price is the biggest problem.

But if Nintendo Switch 2 will most selling consoles or New Nintendo Wii U, Sega, SNK 3DO, Laser Active 🤔 😅 Worst selling product? NO, people buying them anyway, digital cheap. Apple, Razer expensive they buying anyway 🙄 😅🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

  9. @lhggdgtbgnhfffjjjhhhccvgff

    April 7, 2025 at 11:39 am

    WII vs. Wii U
    Wii U worst selling?

NES, and SNES selling more than N64 and Gamecube though Gamecube more powerful than N64 SNES. 😅

Ps3 is better and more powerful than Ps2, but Ps2 selling more and no fan voice and no install games 😅

Gameboy is king of handheld because battery 🔋 and Pokemon 😅 🐛

PS VITA selling less than PSP?

Xbox Series X and PC most powerful, but too expensive like old days.
But games is cheaper because digital. Digital all music movi now games.

So it doesn’t matter how powerful they are, it’s all about PRICE, and EXCLUSIVES. Otherwise the other consoles would be the best selling consoles.😅

    SNK, LASER ACTIVE, SEGA, SATURN?
    Do you remember them?

This might be blasphemy but I can warmly recommend the PS Portal for all PS5 owners wanting to play handheld. It’s actually awesome.

    • @Scientifish

@mrjoecampbell  Sorry to hear that, but it’s probably due to a bad router. It works flawlessly in my apartment as well as in my summerhouse. I even stream cloud games without any problems at all. The only downside is that you can’t play on planes.

    • @JJ115j

Streaming is just inferior to native, even if streaming runs the game with better graphics.

  12. @aleksa0015

    April 7, 2025 at 1:09 pm

I doubt that will repeat fame of predecessor as now there is a lot competition (better or worse ) in form of Steam deck and wide range of windows devices ….

    April 7, 2025 at 1:42 pm

i’m not disappointed that the switch 2 is not oled i think new led is great to me i think it doesn’t need oled it would be way too expensive if it has oled i am ok and don’t mind that switch 2 don’t have no oled i think oled is overrated to me

  14. @purplepatch25

These lot really act like the oled never existed.

  15. @ActionJaxonH

    April 7, 2025 at 2:25 pm

Day one of course. Switch 2 is like having a portable PS4. Its running Street Fighter 6 better than the Xbox Series S for goodness sakes.

  16. @eng2625

    April 7, 2025 at 2:44 pm

Switch is now becoming a Smartphone now, the OLED will be after 2 or 4 years. and then the Pro will be when ever. Can’t they just do OLED immediately, and later the cheaper model, which is not an OLED screen.

  19. @amzgtech

Curious how big the jump actually feels compared to the original Switch. Is it next-gen enough to justify the hype (and price)?

    • @tjmack010

      April 8, 2025 at 12:42 am

Going by specs and comparisons, the Switch 2 is about as strong as a PS4 Pro to the Series S, you’ll be able to play most modern if not all modern games with a little less FPS, considering the Steam Deck and Rog Ally are base PS4 level, the Switch 2 is one of the strongest handhelds on the market with a very reasonable price.

    • @QuantumChrist

      April 8, 2025 at 4:33 am

Switch 2 is powerful than Xbox series s. That’s said it all.

  20. @JoeSiegler

    April 7, 2025 at 4:34 pm

I will get one eventually, but not at launch. It’s not a price thing, as I know Nintendo doesn’t put these on sale, but I’ waiting for a more compelling reason, as for the level of gaming I do on the switch the OG model is just fine for now.

  21. @Bajoomboe

    April 7, 2025 at 4:58 pm

Specs alone won’t justify an upgrade. If the game Gundam Battle Operation 2 (or 3) runs on it, that there is my reason to upgrade.

  22. @M.A.D.E.144

    April 7, 2025 at 5:09 pm

Its not worth it people. No oled screen ( gonna be re released with an oled eventually), no hall effects joy cons (say hello to stick drift), $60- $90 priced games, some game cards don’t contain the games need to be downloaded via internet ( Nintendo trying to get rid of reselling), over priced with ps4/xbox one specs. Game chat runs at a sub 20fps😅.

  25. @Eliustrates

    April 7, 2025 at 7:12 pm

It looks so slick, I just don’t know if I need it. If there was Mario Odyssey 2 then maybe

  26. @SUPERMAN.1985

    April 7, 2025 at 10:08 pm

everything to me about switch 2 is perfect except LCD screen if it wasn`t mini LED i`ll wait for OLED screen later

  27. @rosariodagosto6484

    April 7, 2025 at 11:38 pm

Thats very good price considering all new Features

  28. @dragonite4242

    April 8, 2025 at 3:01 pm

If it were old with these tariffs it’d be more expensive than it already is. I’m ok with LCD for now. 80 percent of cellphones in the US are iPhones, they didn’t get oleds till recently and no one care.

  29. @meowbauk

    April 8, 2025 at 6:18 pm

OLED is literally becoming gold standard now for most smartphones as well as budget devices so it’s so silly that an LCD panel is still existing for such a high end console.

Im amazed that their bringing back game share! I remember these good old days on the ds lite.
