Is there a job posting to teleoperate this things? I would apply.

    • @CardinalClippy

      November 2, 2025 at 1:38 pm

Indian and Filipino people are going to be working those kinds of jobs.

  2. @urbanstrencan

    November 2, 2025 at 8:33 am

But can it work/help on the farm 😉 Then I’m buying one 🙂

    • @NextNate03

      November 2, 2025 at 10:25 am

Is your 🏠 on the farm?
      Then it can help.

Actually Indians in a warehouse somewhere remotely doing your chores

Let’s cure cancer then do b.s. like this.

    • @smittyvanjagermanjenson182

      November 2, 2025 at 9:04 am

Insufferable comment… you “cure cancer” then what do the doctors do? Cures for life threatening illnesses would put the medical industry out of business.

    • @Ray__E

      November 2, 2025 at 11:53 am

There’s already a cure for cancer but big pharma will never allow it to be released. The money is in the medicine, not the cure

    • @JAD73567

      November 2, 2025 at 1:35 pm

      @Ray__ELinks to the cure please.

    November 2, 2025 at 9:00 am

Teleoperated? Yeah, I would not be able to sleep at night.

    November 2, 2025 at 9:04 am

“stranger,” I think you meant telepresent “slave,” the idea of some underpaid worker doing my chores for $500 is just another form of slavery

    • @smittyvanjagermanjenson182

      November 2, 2025 at 9:11 am

If the person is operating this with a VR headset, then its hardly slavery.. slavery involves difficult and strenuous physical labor with minimal rest/recovery and ZERO compensation. With a remote operated robot, you arent experiencing anywhere near the same levels of physical fatigue when controlling it. To me that sounds like the easiest, most cushiest job/side gig in the world. Also you’re being summoned to do a basic task, by multiple different people, so you dont even work for the same clients on a regular basis.

    • @speedracer9132

      November 2, 2025 at 9:15 am

@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 you LITERALLY used the word SUMMONED to try explaining how this isn’t going to be slavery. Sit. Down.

    *Rule 34* 😉

  9. @QuentinAnthonyAnderson

    November 2, 2025 at 9:38 am

If only they just allowed users to connect their own headsets to the robot and do the training themselves, maybe this would be appealing. But having some kid a thousand miles away remotely operating a robot in my home is a no-go.

We, as a “human society” have become lazy and straight up dumb

    • @NextNate03

      November 2, 2025 at 10:27 am

      Lazy?
Humans been doing stuff like that since the beginning of time.

    No

  14. @RYN988

    November 2, 2025 at 11:10 am

This is just creepy. if a human is gonna end up “tele-operating” this creepy mess you may as well hire a human maid and save your money and privacy. This is wage slavery by other means, further exploiting workers from the developing world paying them dimes for long hours. Besides, I think the privacy aspects of some machine that walks and sees and can do things and being remotely controlled is just nightmarish af.

    • @Ray__E

      November 2, 2025 at 11:57 am

I agree with your points. This will inevitably end badly for people who buy this thing and the company. I can’t imagine how many pervs will be teleoperating this thing and spying on kids, people in intimate moments, banking information, etc… Way too many people are comfortable giving these tech companies more access and control over their lives.

  15. @Ray__E

    November 2, 2025 at 11:50 am

Why would anyone want this in their house?😐

  16. @ninjanerdstudent6937

    November 2, 2025 at 11:55 am

Why can’t they let the owners and renters of the robots operate the robots? Why does it need to be a stranger? This innovation has already failed prior to its release.

  17. @yuichichi

    November 2, 2025 at 12:37 pm

If the owner was killed, did the robot do it or the human operator?

    • @NextNate03

      November 2, 2025 at 1:25 pm

      To answer your question.
Go watch the movie I Robot.

I don’t trust anyone touching or looking at my stuff. People in general are problematic, and most will be nosey, eventually have personal motives, and will steal, sabotage, or whatever that problematic person feels like doing. Been there done that too many times. I’ll wait until we have fully autonomous bots and we can slap VPNs on them and other digital/physical protection measures

Ah i thought the climate was under pressure and we all need to save energy and prevent digital waste. But now we all need a humanoid while our jobs are lost to AI?
