I can’t be the only one disappointed with lesser quality video than was livestreamed in 1969.
@ELDRGODD
April 6, 2026 at 8:59 pm
Just wait until they get back and upload data in 4k
@Box545x39
April 6, 2026 at 9:04 pm
@ELDRGODD that defeats the purpose, Nasa is great at editing. Live footage is much harder to fake. They have the technology to send back 4k live.
@MMcDuff
April 6, 2026 at 9:05 pm
It’s like Austin Powers movie
@purple-47
April 6, 2026 at 9:05 pm
@Box545x39 you understand there is an entire moon blocking the signal, you should be glad you even get 4 pixels let alone a proper image of it

April 6, 2026 at 9:04 pm
Lol After 50 years of the most technological advances this crappy outside camera is the best we got? Lol omg the theories are going to fly! Jesus NASA!
@kdmigloo
April 6, 2026 at 8:52 pm
Sounds like some Neil Armstrong BS. They just keep spoon feeding us crap and we are dumb enough to swallow it.
@Box545x39
April 6, 2026 at 8:52 pm
An off the shelf samsung camera can get far better detail standing on earth than they’re showing us right by it. Yet they send HD footage back inside the capsule, so many liars.
@Aprst25
April 6, 2026 at 8:53 pm
The quality was bad so you couldn’t see the flag and remains of the last mission. Mhmm

Why can’t we see the Artemis through a telescope?
@CNET
April 6, 2026 at 8:57 pm
You probably can but it’s traveling at around 1,000 milers per hour.
@alexmendoza3809
April 6, 2026 at 9:26 pm
@CNETwe see comets and meteors with the naked eye, we’d be able to see this with a telescope absolutely no doubt.

‘Slingshot’ sounds a bit drude, how about this from down under. By courtesy of my Aṉangu mentors, I am able to think of Artemis 2 as a spiritual boomerang in that it gets whirled around the head of it’s Earthly launcher before being hurled at the Moon where having whirled around the far and dark side of the Moon, just like a boomerang it returns to it’s Earthly launcher. Artemis 2 being a spiritual boomerang by virtue of it’s four human passengers having a similar experience to that of our earliest human ancestors when they too experienced the movement of the Sun, Moon and stars across their horizons and night sky for the first time; a primal spiritual human experience that predates religious, philosophical and scientific thinking by many millennia of human development. Traditional Australian inventors of the boomerang have never forgotten their primal spiritual inheritance; hence all 108 of Australia’s ‘First Nations’ were able to live relatively peacefully in communion with all the living and non living components of their continental community for tens of thousands of years. Welcome to Australia and at least some ‘Peace on Earth’.

We have satellites that can read a license plate from orbit but we can’t outfit a historic mission like this with a camera at least as decent as an Iphone?

Another faked simulation as if we are too stupid to believe they are telling us the truth about what they are seeing. There’s no excuse as to why this day and age and camera technology can’t record the event, we got telescopes and satellites in space that can see the sun and things on earth so small and things in deep space with absolutely clear definition. I’m not surprised at all this is what they throw at the people
