Audio intelligence is pretty cool, where you can even record the last 15 seconds which is sort of a violation

      September 14, 2026 at 8:45 am

I get where you’re coming from, but is being able to get a text transcript of the last 15 seconds really that big a deal when voice recorders on phones and pocket dictaphones have been available for literal decades?

    • @de1623

      September 14, 2026 at 9:42 am

actually, as an introvert who hates asking people to repeat themselves this will be so handy…

    • @AndrewTSq

      September 14, 2026 at 12:46 pm

From what I can tell, its illegal to record someone even if its used to transcribe to text in California, so not sure how Apple will handle maybe lawsuits.

    CIA-mandated feature

They said that the audio is not stored anywhere. Plus, you can always turn off the feature or simply not buy the watch. For most, it’s a nice-to-have feature. Pixels have had a similar Shazam-like feature for ages, by the way. Apple just does more with that buffered audio than just Shazam.

Guys use your intelligence not artificial one 😂

  4. @fuzziestlumpkin

    September 14, 2026 at 8:46 am

The auto song ID is literally the only thing I’ve missed from using a Pixel.

    September 14, 2026 at 9:21 am

How would you be able to set Audio Intelligence when you want it? Like how can you set the location for when you want it on?

  6. @stevenm8

    September 14, 2026 at 9:30 am

how much of that actually works in countries that don’t get Siri AI?

  7. @cromemcos

    September 14, 2026 at 9:43 am

my actual sincere comments are. Please wait until you actually have the watch for a review before making these rather outlandish comments in my humble opinion.. I could also ironically say that if indeed it’s as good as visual intelligence then it’s gonna be absolutely rubbish with regard to audio intelligence!! I understand the journalistic imperative to get something out ahead of the competition but the Watch actually will arrive this Friday in Europe at least.

    • @AndrewTSq

      September 14, 2026 at 12:48 pm

I do not trust any reviewers who get the watches early. I only care about real users experience who do not get the watch for free or have a paid sponsorship. My watch is here on Friday .

Erm. Isnt this the entire list? U like everything?

  9. @SlyRacoooon

    September 14, 2026 at 10:13 am

Imagine recapping what someone said in front of them instead of just saying “what” 😂

    • @MrDefjam100

      September 14, 2026 at 11:50 am

seriously, i think this is cringe. just ask the person sorry i didnt catch that could you repeat it lol. i could see this feature just being used for sneaky purposes

    • @AndrewTSq

      September 14, 2026 at 12:42 pm

It is actually a felon in some countries to record other people without consent ,so we will see if it really works everywhere.

    • @GHinWI

      September 14, 2026 at 11:23 pm

I have marginal hearing & feel like a nuisance constantly asking people to repeat. This audio thing sounds great to me.

I bought the Ultra 3 last year, which was an upgrade from the Series. If I knew these advances were coming, I would have chugged along with the Series 3 this year and upgraded to the Ultra 4 instead. Either way, I am sticking it out with the Ultra 3 until it stops getting updates and downgrade back to a standard model when the time comes. Thats likely not gonna be until 2032 though.

1:59 That demo for this was so bad. All they had to do was have the waitress spit out the specials and walk away, so they weren’t in a position to ask again. Weird they went the route they did. Just looked rude 😂

  12. @AndrewTSq

    September 14, 2026 at 12:36 pm

    when is the review embargo?

I dont know if the EU is allowing with the audio because of privacy. And you can always take a picture of the apple watch screen.

  16. @Rv0476

    September 15, 2026 at 8:21 am

The recap is ridiculous. Just communicate with the person—ask again instead of looking at your watch. What kind of world do we live in?

  17. @fspilot1971

    September 15, 2026 at 11:51 am

I’m guessing the 15 seconds is great for people over the age of 95. SMFH

Is Apple Watch smart enough to tell the difference between walking around the deck of a cruise ship while it’s moving and not moving?
