I used to really enjoy TED talks but now there’s too many activists pushing their agendas on there. A real fall from grace!

At ted, what we’ve discovered we don’t have to pay our contributors and people will let us get away with it. It’s time for you to pay your contributors both online and at conferences. Time to show some respect.

TED has continually declined in quality and credibility. A friend and I commented recently that the stars on the hollywood walk of fame have lost their significance because they are now awarded to anyone, even relative newcomers and lesser known artists. TED’s deterioratiion feels similar, as anyone is now permitted to spew their ideas, regardless of the depth of their expertise, research or qualifications. Enshittification has become ubiquitous.
