Yeah, my older model MacBook Pro has a better screen resolution than this. I need to upgrade my gaming laptop but this seems too under powered for me

“At least it does have a 128GB hard drive, so that’s better” Than what? 64GB?!!?!? 128GB is laughably small already!

Hopefully we start to see some i5 windows laptops for $400 soon then it’ll start making more sense but that M1 for 700-800 used 900 new is too future proof and it’s actually useable to create on

meh, this is a joke. microsoft knows windows is not sufficient to run on a 4 gig ram. this is 2022, not 2003. 8 gig should be the minimum. nice video btw

Reset your old laptop. There you now have a new computer. Spray out the vents, its now cooler and faster.

Microsoft , remember the early 2000’s well we’re going to sell you a laptop with those specs for $600 + 4GB and 128GB storage .

Inflation aside as pay has not kept up with it to allow people to afford more. I think for the added price this device is honestly unacceptable. At $600 4GB of RAM is bad. At $700 128GB of storage is bad. At $800 not having thunderbolt is bad. Also missing a backlit keyboard which should be along for the ride at around the $800 price point. The MacBook Air is also sitting right above that $800 price point, you have the cons of macOS but it has thunderbolt, a backlit keyboard, and a better display.

I’ve been using the Surface Pro 4 m3 processor with 128GB, 4G RAM since release date of Oct, 2015. I installed Windows 11 on it and it is serving me very well. I don’t do any programming or video rendering. It’s been perfect for everything that I need it for and runs butter smooth.

It’s all on what the user wants and needs. Not everyone needs a power house of a laptop with all the latest crazy specs. My Surface is proof of making through the test of time. I’d recommend any of their products to any one.

Microsoft needs to make the surface laptop Go 3 256 Gb + 8 Ram with a Ryzen mobile CPU (Hopefully 5 series, but 3 series is also still good) the standard model and place it at $550 – $600. Everything else can stay the same.

How is surface connect worse “in every way possible” than magsafe when it supports data and display transfer? the magsafe only charges the macbook.

You want to run Windows with 4gb RAM? ???? That is a joke, right…? Anyway, the design looks good. For some reason it reminds me of the new design style of the new Macbook Pro’s… ????

I love surface. But what is laptop. It’s a device you place it over your lap.
I used to open vscode to programming for whole day.
I want a laptop doesn’t burn my legs, I want high mobility doesn’t need to charge battery often.
Sorry, MacBook air can do it all. I seriously consider to switch to Apple silicon MacBook air next purchase.

  37. tipoomaster

    June 29, 2022 at 7:28 pm

Remains too pricey for what it is once you skip the bum bottom tier. Really that should go away and the middle tier should take that price slot, then it would be appealing.

I just traded in my original laptop go for the go 2…8gb 128k The new one is a real improvement. It’s faster, cooler, louder, better wifi, sage green. Yes Apple is a better product…full stop. I like the design of the Go 2…how it feels to hold and type on. I like the touch screen. I had no intention of buying the original a year ago until I saw it at best buy. I was going to buy another Chromebook. After handling the device, it just felt right. The build quality is very good. The size is perfect for me. It is a great portable laptop…just not very powerful.
