Better buy a plastic bag and cover the screen of any mobile . Worse experience on the fold

Tried the Duo at my local Best Buy and really didn’t like it. Hope this model’s better. Given that rear camera design I’m not very optimistic. Wouldn’t having the phone open when taking photos/video just be super awkward? ????

Microsoft needs to make a phone that does not require a Google password and does not touch Google servers. Something like the Graphene OS.

Everybody knows foldable devices are not practical yet and crazy expensive. Rollable displays are the future unless you could fold displays twice or thrice into compact size????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️

I love the build and outer design of the Duo. It’s beautiful.
The huge bezels, ‘outdated’ chip and clunky software experience made me not buy it.

Kind of a flop? Is an understatement, I would go buy a cricket phone for $50.00 bucks & feel more better money spent, Microsoft need to go back to the drawing board & hit the erase button & start over, but I guess they have plenty of money to burn on nothing, it’ll probably be on eBay in a few months for $10.00 bucks, lol!

It looks like someone just glued on the camera housing of a Samsung S21.

And could we get an even bigger bezel? 2012 is calling.

I don’t know why they are making a new one. They still haven’t sold the original production run.

This is a bad design concept. The Duo is bulky and odd to use. Time to go back to the Nokia and build the Android OS around the Metro look and feel.

Why not a duo 2 with windows operating system + amazon apps store.

      Lack of accessibility.
Although, I would love to have a dual boot option, 1. Android 2. Windows.

  25. Mega ZoneEX

I have a duo…. All you have to do is open the camera app on the screen without the camera and flip the screen with the camera and you have a back facing camera.

Are we really so desperate to return to “tablet photography”?

I’m tired of foldables. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea, but I’m waiting for all the kinks to be ironed out. I want something that can last a while AND don’t hold back on performance. Wake me up when that happens.

Being that windows 11 can run on ARM, it would be sick to have it potentially installable.

  35. BillGates Of Europe

    July 30, 2021 at 9:56 am

This phone does well in the consumer polls, but sales fall short. The branding is confusing and unclear. It’s identity can be summed up with the old phrase, ‘innovation doesnt remember the chance of failure when it’s rich’. Just an easy programming device on the go.

Forced African slave labor sick of all these companies not supporting any of them. Don’t need any of them I like walking in the woods building things playing my guitar it’s really time to stop supporting evil.
