Sooooo……. will this drone camera fly through an open window and case out someone elses house. All it needs is a grab handle to pick stuff up.

Great for burglars. Nice one Amazon

I love how when non-smart home channels review these things they keep saying “Alexa”. I have to go mute my echo dots so they don’t keep waking every 8 seconds when they hear her.

Back then a president resigned for putting a couple of mics in a room. Now, we pay to have microphones and cameras around our house.

What if the Show senses there are multiple people in the room? Does it get the Hepburn tremor?

Question about the 4th gen. Does anyone know if when your on FaceTime with someone, if you could still listen to music in the background without the persons voice being connected to the speaker? If that makes ANY sense at all

I would be interested if the higher end 100$ echo had the digital clock and it could also be used as a count down and count up (stopwatch) timer …and could also display the date numerically. Perhaps even a count down time for the song youre playing or show the room temperature & humidity level or display the forecasted high and low temperature of the day. Theres so much functionality you could do with that digital clock feature

No drone indoors. I see damage coming broken things around the home. I’ll wait for the Echo Show 10 to go on sale. Too expensive right now. Hoping Group calling will also come to older Echo Shows like the 1st and 2nd gen models.

  28. 4daluvofnikki

    September 26, 2020 at 3:45 am

The drone is not an Echo device it is a Ring device. They only had 4 new Echo devices announced. Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Dot with Clock and Echo Show 10.

Just FYI the new echo dot does not use the standard Micro-USB plug anymore. So those using Micro-USB power hubs and multi adapters take note. You will need a empty electrical socket to power this device.

6 months ago I wouldn’t imagine video chatting while cooking. Then a week ago I actually did it. My daughter was cooking in her kitchen 3 states away while I cooked in mine. This would have been more fun especially on her side so I could see the kids crawling at her feet. Amazing.

Amazon just accelerated the creation of Skynet.

    Me: “Alexa. Play Despacito.”
Alexa: “Do you feel in Charge?”
Me: “I paid you a small fortune.”
Alexa: “And this gives you power over me?”

Me and like a million other people are still angry at the screen flickering problem of our Echo Spot. It happens nearly a year into ownership. It it is a problem that seems to be happening to everyone that owns one and Amazon denies any issue with the device.

My 4yr old $30 Fire Tablet still works like a champ, so why does the $100 Spot fail so much?

  60. Tristan Albertson

    September 27, 2020 at 6:32 pm

I mean it’s cool, but if you already have a previous echo show i wouldn’t get the newest one unless you rely on video chatting and such. It’s not something i would use, i still prefer Google Home myself. It works better with me. but i still have Alexa too. They both have pros and cons.

    September 27, 2020 at 6:32 pm

Echo dot looks so stupid haha, definitely stick to the last model.

  64. Josef Holzer

    September 27, 2020 at 7:34 pm

I have the last generation of the echo show, I think the software good get better. There aren’t enough recipes and you can’t see your music library of music that you own.

  65. Jack Light
