These two are actually my favorite tech reviewers. Scott is just wholesome and Bridget is more than often hilarious. Most importantly, they’re just genuine.

I want to see Microsoft and Apple make Co-Pilot and Siri optional features available for download instead of mandatory integrated programs.

@@Smashed_Potatos it feels to me like they are fighting a future where people don’t know how to use a PC so they need to have AI to talk to and make them do the stuff they can’t do themselves.

I’ve been looking for android XR content and i can’t find anything… they just keep showing the same features of asking the ai to make up a story based on what they see, hey gemini get me to that place in google map and rearange my screens… i need more! Realistically i will mostly use the virtual desktop app and firefox or whatever browser works best but i want more if there’s more!

I want AI and AR/VR on my glasses/face because I want to get the phone out of my hands. I look at using it for maps/Waze directions walking riding or driving, a translation app that translates both what I see and what I hear from other languages to english. AI descriptions and history from wikipedia or other sources or bring up my calendar or text notifications. Taking a quick call or making one without taking out my phone, typing on it with both hands occupied and my head down. I also don’t want to have my phone speaker blaring translations or info from AI, pointing my phone at what I am interested in or ear buds in when glasses can offer a better user interface and easier use without disturbing others around me. Google glass modernized in a normal looking form with AI .

I just went through what Bridget said at 20:59 , and she put into words exactly how I felt after spending Easter with my dad’s family. I hadn’t seen him in months so when I got to his house, he doesn’t watch any type of news channel and all the info he gets is from the dozens of whatsapp groups he follows. We both have almost the exact opposite opinions on subjects and the weird thing is, it wasn’t always like this. We had so much stuff in common and we used to talk about movies, tv shows and songs we like and we would share them with each other but I tried to do that now (trying to have a fun time while we have it) and everything to him turns into a dark/sad/horrifying commentary. It’s disappointing and hearing Bridget say that just kinda… melted everything for me. I know it doesn’t make sense… but that’s how it feels
