I find it ridiculous to add 3 or more months onto a mortgage to pay for a ceiling faucet. And in Canada, your water lines in the ceiling would probably freeze during our -30c days.

  @KajeKage Because a furnace doesn’t heat the attic. And the insulation is trying to keep all the heat below the ceiling drywall. With a couple weeks of -30, I’m pretty sure the temperature up there can get quite low. Now, a two-story house wouldn’t have a problem if you have rooms above the kitchen.

  @Trevor Dennis you so realize that the pipe would be below the insulating right? I’ve run lines in the ceiling in upstate ny because it’s a lot easier than going through the floor when on the second story.

We’re in the middle of trying to find a replacement hose for a a basic pull down sink faucet. A simple 59 inch hose that everybody has but they all come in different measurements and thread for. This would be a nightmare to repair.
