Earth heating has nothing to do with oil, it’s the Sun activity cycle we are in. And a bit of cows, pigs and people farting. Carbon monoxide from cars is less than .5 of a percent of green house gasses. Any person who says it’s oil has an agenda. Get rid of cows, people and pigs the planet will cool down, AFTER the sun stops it’s cycle.

As L.L.Godwil states solar panels are not the cheapest. They last 30 years and require rare earth minerals so are also a deadend. Geothermal lasts forever in human terms. Even cheaper than geothermal is ethanol done the green way. Unlike geothermal, ethanol can be used for all the things that fossil fuel can be used for. The energy sourse is the sun. Ethanol can be made from anything that has sugar or starch including food waste. Germany used ethanol produced in coops to fuel their economy and their war machine. The left over mash was used to feed pigs or thrown back on the fields to fertilize and build the soil. EVs, solar and wind are another dead end scam orchestrated by big Corps. The problem with ethanol is that it is too democratic. Every farmer can have a still.

@TheTruthIsEasier Depends on the process. It can be 0-100. Read David Blume’s Alcohol Can Be a Gas for some of the different processes. How many gallons does it take to make a solar panel or wind turbine? Or to put it another way how much water per kwh or btu?

The people need to take solar panels into their own hands and put them on their house where possible. We can’t wait for the government to do anything about it because they arent.
China is able to access 3 terabytes? Of renewable energy which would encompass the world – is my understanding of what I’ve read recently.
Even Elon (a long time ago) mentioned that just accessing a portion of some state (i cant remember) and providing solar panels would provide free electricity for the entirety of the US.
It certainly blows my mind how people are against positive motion forward and would prefer to struggle and pay more while destroying ecosystems and essentially the world due to greed and misinformation.
Some people truly feel like positive motion forward is a detriment to their way of life….. it’s interesting to say the least. Perhaps because you dont know what you dont know until you know it – so until people who have struggled experience more love and abundance in their lives – things wont change for them.

@prplelephants7 slight correction which I feel is relevant. Globally we have 3 Terrawatts of solar capacity installed. China has about 1.27 Terrawatts of that capacity so nearly half.

I got fed up waiting for successive governments to get their fingers out and get moving, so fitted my own solar panels, battery storage and air source heat pump, before I retired from work.
My energy bills are now so low (and often zero) I can actually afford to both heat my home AND eat properly!

Especially because if all combustion engines turn to electric, solar alone will not meet the demand. We need a diverse energy grid backed mostly by clean nuclear power.
There are nuclear cycles that are renewable too.

Must be so frustrating when the potential is there but cannot be realised. It’s not just the hostility of the Trump administration to wider ecological concerns. We’re pushing on a flawed economic system which cannot support environmental integrity & human desires concurrently.
Birth rates are falling globally & it’s only going to get harder to ignore the consequences of past human activity from here. The fact that there remains military conflict in the world at such a crucial time suggests priorities are at fault, particularly when ‘resource allocation’ has demanded 5% of GDP be dedicated to military defence against our own kind!

The problem is that even if you get everyone to believe and change to solar etc, is; oil will still be used by big powers. Solar needs to be led into, weslthy first and then take everyone with them. But that will never happen. Committing is a top down action, leadership is POOR. People aint going to take all the risks

Do we need to cool the Earth? In the 70s scientists were warning us about the upcoming ice age. Then forty years later the impending doom involved the arctic seaways opening up year round. Isn’t NYC supposed to be under water by now? Solar will never cut it. We have to go nuclear and keep working on fusion.

Nuclear power is light years ahead of any other technology in all respects, the waste problem is way overblown because they don’t want cheap plentiful power, they want control. You won’t see any solar panels on a data center, I wonder why?. Anyone pushing solar is heavily invested it or just plain ignorant of it’s drawbacks. You can’t make solar panels at scale using just solar power and don’t even get me started on wind power! Green energy is a big hoax and this clown is one of the perpetrators.

Why don’t we put it like this! This is the only beautiful planet we not only come from but have in our hands yet the ones we put in charge put paper money over it’s our own health making it more of a cesspool than the beautiful planet it really is! People say we can’t see peoples greed and I say that’s false simply check the cancer rates or the people born year over year younger and younger with terminal illnesses and diseases this is none other than the tops greed coming through on the people that never agreed to it never had a hand in dumping trash by water sources hiding nuclear waste or setting off weapons of mass destruction for test in our own back yards all of which containment our water our food and change our DNA. Those same idiots what you to think it’s not real so they can pollute and face less restrictions on where they dump it or when they get caught the almost laughable penalties they pay none of them close to the cost us at the bottom pay with our health and most of the the time with the highest price of shortened lives or our children born only to die in the first years of our lives! So instead of using your common sense keep believing the people telling you climate change isn’t real that summer in winter and winter in summer is normal! The floods hurricanes and so on they couldn’t be controlling them right the Harrp system couldn’t be a system setup to change the weather with mass amounts of electronic discharge effecting the high amounts of aluminum aerosols released by the planes causing conditions they can predict and magnify a system Nikola Tesla Said was not only possibly but may have had plans for a system that could produce the same effects! So when they tell you our world can take so much more ask your self if your body was the planet how long would last with all these greedy people treating you like a waste disposal unit instead of the magnificent place you were how many things outbreaks toxic spills oil spills cars running on yesterdays fossil fuels it would take before you started to break down! Like our own bodies we only get one planet like my body I chose to take care of my planet what will you do with you section will you be a guardian or will you join in on trashing our Mother Earth? I need help, she needs our help let’s make sure not just our children enjoy home but their children and kids we might not never know get to enjoy this place we call home! Or will we doom them to live in a place where rubber mask are required to breathe and where rainfall is deadly where swimming is a thing of the past! For me it’s really only one option, but again what will you do?
