@John Howard you do realise that the animals you eat are being fed supplements as well? including b12. so if you’re worried about running out of supplements, the best thing to do is to consume them directly, rather than feeding them to other animals first. also nutrients in supplements are just as much and in some cases more bioavailable as well as having the advantage of knowing exactly how much of the nutrient you are getting. but seriously, what is you scenario where you would have to worry about supplements running out?

@Daphne H it was just a hypothetical scenario. I assume it may not come to that unless there is war or some other disaster. The fundamental fact is that eating meat (and yes that includes saturated fat and cholesterol) is absolutely healthy and benficial for the human body. I know this may contrary to what we’ve been told but thats because we have told complete and utter nonsense. What you say about supplements being bioavailable is simply incorrect, real whole foods are far more naturally nourishing. As far as the moral question goes, that i suppose is an individual question. I personally think that its completely natural and ethical for us to eat animals (just as all predatory omnivores do on planet earth) and to suggest that we treat animals in the same way as human beings is insane.
You have all been fed lies and probably watched too many Disney films. Animals are food, deal with it.

A vegan lifestyle is better in a lot of ways.
Many vegan diets are associated with very positive health outcomes including the prevention of many chronic diseases.
Vegan food systems are by far the most sustainable, requiring the least amount of land water and other resources.
A vegan lifestyle is vastly more ethical than any lifestyle that includes the violent exploitation of sentient victims.
I could go on but frankly any one of these examples would be more than enough reason to be vegan on they’re own.

Yes, she said that she is non-vegan, but she also said that she has asthma. A vegetarian and flesh eating diet can be problematic for asthma, so a vegan diet which removes the items that are problematic for asthma could actually help her.

I searched up and all the studies said it’s not a one to one relation. What it says is, people with asthma have a higher tendency of developing other allergies, and dairy maybe one of them. That’s like saying asthmatics can’t have shrimp or gluten, other common allergies…
But I’m an asthmatic myself and see tons of asthmatics in my daily life, all of them consume dairy freely.

People under Hinduism still follow different practices. It’s like an Umbrella term. So yes Hindi is a language but she most likely also follows the practices of the people under that category. You can’t necessarily just be Hindu. There is no general practice. You have to pick a practice even if you don’t speak the language associated with that. It’s fine. At least you know what you have to do. It might seem vastly different but even people who pray to Christ fall under sections & saying you’re Christian is very generalised. People fall into a particular category & being taught differently even if sometimes it doesn’t come across that way. Others are blatantly noticeable & they’ll let you know on top of that. 7th day Adventist for example. It’s like I know ma’am but can I eat my crab in peace.

Well…better she say(about being vegan). We evolve to be omnivorous, but recent studies discober that we are in fact facultative carnivores,meaning that we’re primarily carnivores who also eats non animal food.
