Curious about the matte display — does it show any sparkle or graininess on white backgrounds? Matte coatings usually cost you a bit of text sharpness and black depth in exchange for fewer reflections

    2k for a phone 😂!!!

Who could use it? People that utilize their iPad Mini’s, iPad Air’s etc. for work on a regular basis, for remote access, AI agents, trading, pilots, doctors, those that use iPads as a supplemental device alongside a laptop.

This way you just get one pocketable device instead of a separate phone + separate iPad/s.

Also, iOS will continue to evolve. This is obvious given the fact that Apple is working on a touchscreen laptop. Their OS’s are starting to merge.

That being said. Might be worth waiting for the 2nd generation

Millionaires with 2000 dollars to burn can buy it!

I actually really love that the outside screen still works when the phone is open. The galaxy Z Fold doesn’t do that! I was an iPhone boy, then switched to Samsung for the Galaxy Z Fold… but im VERY interested in this 🤔

    September 10, 2026 at 1:58 am

Samsung has been making folding phones for years now. Better late than ever that Apple is jumping aboard. Of course it’s Apple so all the fans and “tech reviewers” are gonna love this. Considering the $2K price tag, this is primarily for YouTube tech reviewers who love to show off the newest iPhones, and the businessmen with a lot of cash.

      @CyberHawk2024 all foldables are expensive

    • @CyberHawk2024

      September 10, 2026 at 3:02 am

@Hakahoriyeah and they’re not for everyone either. I can’t imagine people wanting to buy these things for their teens lol

It costs $4,199 NZD here in New Zealand!! 🤣🤣

I rather save that money on a new car instead!!

Looks like the surface duo 2

  9. @jaimeb3587

7 years too late. No innovation. A Samsung copy, that’s all.

  10. @K123thisisyoutube

    September 10, 2026 at 3:28 am

Yawn. Apple really doesn’t know how to be original.

  11. @gtone339

    September 10, 2026 at 4:14 am

No thank you! $4,199 NZD in New Zealand dollars is absurd! I am going for Samsung’s next years Galaxy S27 Ultra instead! 😊

May wait for the Fold9 and 10 anniversary ver of the Galaxy Z Fold! 😎

Nice that it can use the Apple Pencil, but the storage of the pencil is an issue.

  17. @Tenchinu

Would say i would wait to get into when it goes into discounts… but that ain’t happening here

  18. @Oldaker

Telephoto is a gimmick. Add one to this phone and you have two gimmicks in one device

  19. @nuyou21

    September 10, 2026 at 8:56 am

I agree with you and Marques, Apple mocked Samsung’s rushed Temu Z Fold 8, especially Apple Pencil support. Well, it’s safe to say Apple’s about to make absolutely silly money this Techtober 💰😂

Once again Apple says they are breaking new ground by copying Samsung or Nokia. I have to give Apple credit for their ability to sell overpriced copycats. I remember having a Nokia phone with video conferencing ability BEFORE the first iphone came out.

  24. @JasonB808

    September 10, 2026 at 3:54 pm

All the Haters gonna hate but the Apple IPhone Duo will be the best selling foldable phone period. Sammy phones will not even come close. Are they the best phone? Mabel not. But are they the best phone for Apple users with deep pockets. Yes. Every person who wants the latest and greatest from Apple will buy a IPhone Duo.
