At one minute 37 second mark . What do you mean about the iPhone 11 Pro Max $1300.? I’m very confuse. They still sell the iPhone 11 Pro Max? And are you saying more expensive? some of the newer ones?

    • @Rickiyye

      September 12, 2026 at 4:22 pm

@solracm7783 That sounds like an unintentional error on his part – matching his speech and the screen which shows 18 Pro Max indicates this, maybe he was still thinking of the previous displayed price which has the number 11

    September 10, 2026 at 4:04 pm

Did not recognise Patrick for a second but congrats on the weight loss. Also, the iPhone 18 Pro did make good improvements with having the 3x larger vapour chamber and the aperture lens which Samsung had previously

  3. @Mr98848

    September 10, 2026 at 4:25 pm

Why do you even so excited for the tech that exisisted years back

Auto aperture? – you don’t say. My point-n-shoot camera from 2005 has that

Let’s put the iPhones at side for a second let’s talk about your secret. You’re looking good my guy😮

  13. @Andy1341000

    September 10, 2026 at 5:30 pm

Aperture features are the very underwhelming especially on a phone. Hoping for better upgrades next year.

    What in the Ozempic!!!

  15. @jamesroche6138

Will video record actually focus on moving objects in background and will aperture work automatically deciding when to open close etc

That Camera start Samsung Galaxy S9

  17. @laborspy

Samsung dropped the aperture years ago because nobody asked for it

  18. @volcalstone

    September 10, 2026 at 6:48 pm

Apple had to raise the prices on the iPhone 17 and Air as well which is such an Apple move. They know people will buy those instead of paying a lot more now for the 18 Pro phones.

  19. @dazza9859

    September 10, 2026 at 6:49 pm

Congrats to Patrick .He has lost a lot a weight and looks well.

Losing weight make you sound different? Congrats

  24. @chrisbecke1310

    September 10, 2026 at 8:30 pm

    Apple are having themselves on.
Why release a phone every year if you don’t actually improve anything.
I went from iPhone 12 to IPhone 17 last year.
    There was hardly any improvement.
    A little camera tweak
Now this camera tweak and a price rise no thank you.

I’ve defended Apple for years but since Steve Jobs you are not innovating at all.
You’re following and not even doing that good.

You better start making phones to hook up to Starlink asap or Elon will pull the rug.

The future is Starlink satellite phones all the Telecommunication companies in the world will not be around in 10 years.

Sell your shares now and get out.

  25. @SamD253

    Just 4 stops? Gimmick?

  26. @RandoCalrizzian67

    September 11, 2026 at 12:27 am

He had every opportunity to describe aperture like your pupil because pupils grow and shrink depending on light and when you adjust aperture on a camera, mechanically it even looks like a pupil. But he went with eye lids which simply go up and down.

  27. @NK-GB6756

    September 11, 2026 at 12:52 am

Whoa it that you Patrick ? You look incredible man .

  29. @AdrianoJolivesi

    September 11, 2026 at 1:42 am

    Extra 1 stop:
    “I’m like a photographer now”
    😂😂😂
    Pathetic upgrade.
Battery life? No one believes that.
Vapor chamber? Wow big deal. 🙄
Faster chip? Yeah we’ll notice the difference 🤔
    Not worth the upgrade.

  30. @paulcfyeung

    September 11, 2026 at 3:35 am

O my, I could not recognise him! What a transformation! 😮

I haven’t been on this channel in a while and seen you. You get on ozempic or you just actually did the gym work? Also, your voice sounds SO much different than i remember, idk why that is. This stands out more than any iphone stuff to me here.

  34. @robdean1123

    September 11, 2026 at 5:57 am

This is my next phone in 2028 and I will buy it 2nd hand.

  35. @JohnLeeXina

    September 11, 2026 at 8:22 am

squinting and opening your eyes is not the best example to describe an aperture lol 0:21

  36. @TràĐặcNgôn

    September 11, 2026 at 8:34 am

*What do you think is the charging capacity of this year’s iPhone 18 Pro Max? Which color is best worth buying when it comes to durability if the painted area is scratched?*

  37. @mephisto1025

    September 11, 2026 at 8:47 am

It’s actually more like an eye pupil not an eyelid. Eyelids open an close . An eye pupils open wider due to light an decrease in size when light is reduced. Just a minor correction 😂

  38. @MohdFirdaus-lk2dm

    September 11, 2026 at 9:49 am

    You are awesome Patrick 😊❤

I know this is unrelated but give the Quran a read :)).

Amazing that the target of this video has NO concept of how the human eye, OR a SLR film camera actually works. “Squinting eyes” is the analogy.

  42. @allhndlestooken

    September 11, 2026 at 1:07 pm

Correction: RAM prices are up because of *Surveillance centers and A.I.

  48. @ItsSterlingArcher

    September 11, 2026 at 7:48 pm

All this phone did was make me excited for the air 2. I really hope they can add stereo speakers and the bigger camera sensor, and a bigger battery. Even the smaller pro is a BRICK.

  49. @Willmelendz

    September 11, 2026 at 9:52 pm

Love the analogy you used with eyes example.

  50. @rawj777

I’m waiting for the 20th anniversary iPhone next year. My 14 Pro is still going strong.

  51. @kritibhatt55

There’s something oddly satisfying about seeing someone get fully locked into what they’re doing without overplaying it.

  52. @PedroNogueiranunes

    September 12, 2026 at 5:46 am

Congrats on the weight loss mate, looking pretty good 😎

  53. @macjim

    September 12, 2026 at 7:08 am

In all honesty, there’s not enough of a difference in this new iPhone over the 17 Pro I own. The variable aperture is more of a gimmick than a real upgrade and only useful for filmmakers.
I would be worried that these aperture blades could get damaged when you drop your phone; and you will drop it!
It would have been better if they had made the sensors of all. The camera lenses much much larger which would affect the depth of field more than this.
I have owned the 16 Pro and 17 Pro phones and use them as cameras all the time but I have to say I would return to the iPhone 13 Pro if I could as it gave me better images than the 16 & 17 Pro models I have or currently own.
There’s one question that hasn’t been answered and that is, have they finally managed to get rid of the green orbs that were introduced back in the 16 Pro and carried over to the 17 Pro models?
If they have then that would impress me more. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  54. @macjim

Noooooooo! Black is not a colour!!!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

That aperture control is so old. Huawei has it with their old phones. Lol

I hate that dynamic island. Too big.

  59. @Tony_A_441

Literally the best analogy I’ve heard for describing aperture.
