Common, poor Apple needs to offset their price freeze somehow.

To be fair the leather cases weren’t very durable either. I had one and in less than 6 month it was dead

I think my next phone case will come from the Hanes collection. Best of all, I have an ample supply so I don’t need to make any additional purchases. Now, that’s an environmentally friendly approach.

Glass in the back of a phone. What a brilliant idea!!! Ihave never broken a phone when it was made of plastic. I wish there were options.

Well Apple apparently is having the same fate as Samsung had back in 2016. Disaster happened when Samsung made the switch to Type C with their Note7. Now Apple will surely have disaster in sales due to this image and people returning their iPhones

My 15 plus got excessively hot when charging on a wireless charger and my wireless charger inside the car. The overheat icon did not come up, but it was scorching. That was without a case. Ugh!

Just to clarify on Zack’s bend test, remember he did the same on the other iPhone 15s it was only the 15 pro max that cracked so easily signifying a design flaw. ????

Is this only with the 15 pro or also the 15?

Well , the EU n the rest had criticized iPhone 15 quality. They claim Made in India Iphone15 has many flaws.

I still own and use a 12 Pro Max and with a case, it’s still looking brand new

Almost 7 days with the new iPhone 15 pro max and have been a waste of money, overheating from day one, camera sucks, drains about 1% per minute when I take picture, the display is too bad.The best day with the iPhone I got 5 hours of display, just 5 hours with the brightness by half and no other connections like bluetooth, My last iphone (13) had a better battery since day one until now.
Advice, DON’T BUY THE NEW IPHONE

  18. Daniel Colfer

It’s hotter for sure than my 14 pro max was. During general use not gaming (which I don’t do) it definitely feels hotter.

Apple messed up with the marketing for the FineWoven cases. They should have advertised the wearing as a feature. Every one becomes unique, like jeans!

i’m surprised they didn’t just go with vegan leather. seems the most obvious choice

The leather case was also scratched easy!

Since sept 22 my natural titanium pro max has been in the black woven case with the MagSafe woven wallet and it looks as if it was taken out of the box to this day thus far it’s holding up awesome the material feels like thin Alcantara and the sides are and buttons are not bad at all I’d rate the case a 8.5 out of 10. Because over $120 it cost me for the combo lol oh and as far as overheating I have no issues and I constantly play nba2k23 arcade edition

    September 29, 2023 at 9:25 pm

the fact that the DOA woven case has managed to get approved by apple board room is mind boggling

I’ve had the iPhone 15 pro for a week.
The only time I experienced it being quite hot ???? was when I first bought it and it was DL the backup from iCloud.
It hasn’t been an issue since that first hour of ownership.

Apple filed a trade secrets lawsuit against OpenAI last Friday, and it’s not messing around. The complaint alleges a pattern of misconduct reaching all the way up to OpenAI’s chief hardware officer and claims more than 400 former Apple employees now work at the company. OpenAI’s response so far has been carefully hedged, and the timing couldn’t be worse with the company reportedly eyeing an IPO as early as later this year.

On this episode of TechCrunch’s Equity podcast, hosts Kirsten Korosec, Anthony Ha, and Sean O’Kane dig into what the lawsuit could mean for OpenAI’s own hardware ambitions and IPO timeline, plus a bigger theme running through the week’s news: how much should anyone trust AI companies with their data?
