Funny how the less power the device has the better the games it has.
(Power is nothing when the quality sucks!)

Why would you compare a cloud based game to locally running ones?

You don’t want to touch the switch? Clearly you haven’t played Nintendo’s exclusives. Game design over graphics any day.

You didn’t even use metal effect super resolution nor customise the settings other than cranking the resolution up, this showdown seems pointless.

I think this is a dumbest comparison ever lol

Wouldn’t it be better to compare the latest iPhone to an ASUS ROG, a Samsung S23 Ultra, or a Lenovo Legion phone? Also, if you’re injecting a cloud version of a game you could also compare the local version of the game on iPhone as compared to the GeForce Now version running on iPhone.

It makes more sense, but I think he’s selling the iPhone to those who may not own a current-gen console.

@dpt17 Is Resident Evil Village on Android?

    • Aaron

      November 9, 2023 at 4:30 pm

Game not available on android, also even if it is, it will not be the pc version, iPhone’s version has little modification, it is basically the Mac version.

@Aaron yeah that’s what I figured. I’m not sure why dude brought up those phones if RE isn’t even on them.

It’s a great start for the iPhone. It will only get better from now on.

What about the overheating and throttling claims on the iPhone 15 Pro/Max? Any truth to that?

    • OmenBoy

      November 9, 2023 at 12:30 pm

The overheating was fixed a week after launch, with iOS 17.0.1. I haven’t had throttling issues or overheating with the two 15 Pro Max phones in my household.

@OmenBoy Thanks! Good to know it’s fixed now.

considering iphone primary function isnt for gaming, its still impressive that it can run a AAA game with its thermal limitations and slim form factor
