Agreed. I compared an Iphone 13 pro and 14 pro at an Apple store today. I really don’t see a reason to upgrade. I am currently using 12 pro It’s still a go to phone for me and I I’ve always liked that blocky design similar to the Iphone 4 or 5.

Thank you. My 14 Pro Max has been the buggiest iPhone I’ve ever had. So far today, I have had to turn it off three times because it freezes. As a matter of fact it freezes all the time. I’m seriously considering getting the Pixel 7 Pro or the S23 Ultra. 🤷🏻♀️

Mine works fine as well; I also have the S23U, you’ll run into bugs there, more than your 14PM. Also if you’re use to the 14PM battery, the Pixel 7 Pro won’t match with your use for battery efficiency

The thing that I hate about the iPhone is that Apple is constantly adding new features while letting bugs that came before stay put. Especially the blurry artwork thumbnails in the Music app. That’s been a bug since the early days of iOS 16.

I loved my iPhone 14 pro max but there was a down side my camera lens was messing up it wouldn’t focus so I got it replaced and it was fine after

The Dynamic Island is a glorified gimmick. A similar interface could have been built around the notch if they put in the effort. The marketing team is at the healms and it shows.

The post processing on the camera really brought down the iphone 14/pro max. From selfie camera to front camera is kind meh. Comparing a 2year old Samsung S21 ultra.

I like my iPhone 14 Pro. This was my first smart phone. Finally at age 79 I made the jump. It took several Apple store schooling sessions and many hours of stumbling through but I would never go back to my previous Samsung Gusto phone. I just wish that I could get my Windows PC with iTunes to connect better with the iPhone IOS software.

@Kwame Sarpong it’s been the same thing from the S20 series, all they did was change the design and increase over the years (except for the ridiculously priced S20 Ultra). The phones has performed about the same up until the S23 series. Seeing as the S20 series came out around the same time as iPhone 11, Samsung hasn’t been innovative with their Galaxy line up for the same amount of series

I have a 13PM, it has its issues (I’m looking at you top and bottom speakers 😡). Because of that I was HIGHLY contemplating an upgrade (I use Verizon, and since I bought my phone from apple instead of a monthly plan, they HOUND me weekly to upgrade). But I decided to just deal with what I have until the 15 drops and see if it’s a big enough change to push me towards a new device.
I hope it is. I would love a behind-screen fingerprint reader, or a FaceTime camera behind-screen for a notch, or island-less design. I know we won’t get either, but damn it would be glorious. For now if we just get USB-C instead of lightning as well as the dynamic island I think that’ll be enough for Verizon to take my money, lol.

As far as the phone is concerned, I traded from an iPhone 14 pro Max to a Galaxy fold 4 and have not regretted it! I’ve had almost every model of the iPhone. You can say safely I’m a Apple / iPhone person. But more over this I love tech! So I’ve dabbled with Android and galaxys in the past. After seeing a few out in the wild I could not resist the temptation any further. So far I’ve been loving it and unless Apple does something incredible with this next model I’m waiting for the next fold. Tempted to see what Google does with their first entry, but excited to see what the fold five brings. I hope Apple really changes the game and brings something exciting this year! I just got too bored with my iPhone

Love my 14PM! Came to it from Note20U. No complaints. It works flawlessly. It sucks about the bugs but honestly, it’s been pretty bug free for me. Like others, I hope developers will code for dynamic island more, but currently found it pretty cool, even if limited.

Still love my 13 pro max. Battery life still amazing nearly 2 years later. Only thing I’d like to have from the 14 is the dynamic island. I’ll be holding out for the 15 or 16 before I upgrade since my 13 pro max is still so darn good.

I have iPhone Pro Max 14 and there is a problem with Touch is not working with some app which is installed from the Apple store and Wlan sometimes cannot change itself from one to the next hop it looks like a Samsung phone which is used for 3 years and does not function well need to be changed and the positive side is battery and nothing else and android is far better than IOS after using iPhone pro max for one month.

Apple please bring back the sim tray I had the 14 promax, but I also like using Samsung got tired of calling the carrier every time I want to use a different phone so I went back to the 13 promax. Esim no good.

Nice review/recap of the iPhone Pro & Pro Max. I wanted to ask a question, about a week ago, after putting my iPhone 14 Pro on the charger the night before and then going to bed, I woke up to a black screen. Nothing worked, it just was “dead”. I went and found on one of Apple’s forums that others have had this same issue and the “solution” is to press the up volume, then the down volume and then hold the power button in until the apple logo is displayed. In my case it took a little over two hours for that “solution” to work but it did and my phones been fine since [and what’s surprising is that there was a full charge so it wasn’t like it was completely drained or anything]. Have you ever encountered this issue [as it seems to be something that a LOT of people have]. No answers on Apple site either as to what caused it but i suspect something was pushed from Apple and the results are mixed. For some it works fine, but for others like myself the phone basically becomes a useless brick until it comes back to life.

I picked up a gold 14 Pro in mid December, it’s been a mostly decent phone for me. I haven’t had any of the serious issues some have had, I did have that weather bug but that seems to have gone away and at times earlier in my ownership sometimes I had to toggle airplane mode on and off to get reception in certain areas at random times, that too seems to have gone away. My main wish is for something better than a 3X zoom lens in the next version, and I don’t want to have buy the Max Pro to get it
