Iphone 13 looks a bit bad but its still good

for me, I’m an android guy, the iphone 13 is a good looking phone, sure.

but it’s the same thing as last year.

I won’t discount the fluidity of the iphone

but it just doesn’t feel complete, you know what I mean?

not that I’d consider switching anyway. the s21 rocks, but the iphone is still a solid phone, just not an upgrade worth the money

    • Andrew Coles

      September 16, 2021 at 12:42 am

Pretty much. The main thing I like about the 12 and 13 is the build quality, and sharp / flat sides. When you’re holding it, it feels like its a very high quality device.

With all that being said im still on a Galaxy S9. Some day one of these new phones will make me upgrade. Still waiting for a more substantial climb.

    • BowlTM

      September 16, 2021 at 12:49 am

@Andrew Coles yeah for me it was a deal to get $800 off an S21 Ultra 5G when I traded in my S10

    • Jacqueline Payne

      September 16, 2021 at 1:22 am

I finally took the Apple plunge and the “only” thing they do well is the fitness and HeartWatch. But I have to have the phone for the watch ????. So I’m dumping my 8+ for the Samsung Note. It seems that it will be the final one in the lineup. I just got tired of arguing with the Genius Bar non professionals. Regurgitation of crap that doesn’t address your phone issues.

Once you get the actual iphone 13 pro max, can you discuss if the phone is ok for people who has pacemakers?

  9. VOLTRON

    September 16, 2021 at 12:41 am

Ah man.! I Guess I’m keeping my 8 plus for another year. Nothing worth upgrading to. I want onscreen fingerprint reader.

    • Ni Se

      September 16, 2021 at 12:51 am

Probably will never happen. Maybe they will go with an Fingerprint reader on the Power Button but onscreen is not seamless enough for Apple Standards.

    • cedrick305

      September 16, 2021 at 12:51 am

Omg same here, I’m hanging onto mine either until they decide to either put the fingerprint under the screen or do something so crazy that you’d have no choice but to get it.

    • Robert Kester

You’ll be lucky lol not gonna happen

    • cedrick305

      @Robert Kester
I’m hoping maybe the next year they might pull it off because they brought Touch ID back for the IPad.

Price globally dropped to 999$ because samsung didnt release note this year, this channel doesnt research more than 5 min apparently.

    • The Dark Knight

      September 16, 2021 at 3:54 pm

@Mito then it’s not a value phone if a buy it for 999 then 4 months later it will drop to 500$. Just an overpriced piece of glastic garbage

    • Mardoche Julien

Why do people care about Cameras so much

    • Ordinary

      September 16, 2021 at 2:59 pm

Because there is nothing else to improve on. It’s just a phone all you do is call, browse internet and watch youtube. A phone from 2015 can do that perfectly. I will not upgrade until the phone has foldable screen + atachable joycons, rtx 3060 inside and cross platform support.

  34. 1993rufus

    September 16, 2021 at 1:53 pm

1:33 that is not “Apple’s!” It’s a Samsung panel, the correct words are, new pro motion display, made by Samsung! Also, Samsung has a macro mode too!

I remember the days when I complained about phone company requiring min 2 year contract with discounted iPhone for $300. Now they want you pay $30 per month for 36 months (3 years) How is this better?

    • Rio Mendoza

S21 Ultra all the way. That notch looks like 2001.

    • James Carvill

      September 16, 2021 at 3:39 pm

My S21 Ultra screen went out after 4 months and it took Samsung over two weeks to make good on it. 2 weeks to get a phone to a customer? I switched to Apple for the service if nothing more..

  40. Gianlu Ca

    September 16, 2021 at 3:25 pm

Happy with my S21 Ultra 512/16, I use a lot the S-Pen, split the screen using two apps, the 240mm lens (x10) and the 108mpx, its fast usb c 3.1, Samsung Dex and the amazing compatibility with Windows 11. A good change from my previous Note 9, only missing 3,5 jack, internal S-Pen and SD slot, but hey, Bluetooth earphones (pairing 2 together), external S-Pen and enough memory can solve this 1st world problem. People should try it before to decide which is better for them! ✌????

    September 16, 2021 at 3:32 pm

if the price are not far from each other better to choose Iphone instead.
Andriod phone the price is very fast to depreciate then after one year if you want to sell it in order to upgrade your phone you can only sell it maybe around 30-40% of the original price unlike IOS you can still sell it around 70-80% .
Im using android for 10 years after i realize after all.

  42. Afrim Hoxha

    September 16, 2021 at 5:18 pm

When mentioning macro mode for iPhone, do the same for the ultra since it had it before the iPhone. Also Samsung has portrait video which with just one small update it could be similar to cinematic mode of iPhone ( automatic change of focus, or manual)

    • Wolfgang Gunterberger

      September 16, 2021 at 6:40 pm

S22 in Jan 2022 coming and will have something new once again will leave them behind. I’m not an samsung big fan, however i can’t understand Apple policy, everyone who wnats to buy that is stuck with 2 years old tech and locked system bit sad. Maybe is true only poeople who use Snapcaht and Insta wants only iPhone. This year phones like last year nothing new basically same phone just software added new features. No more Magic like it was when jobs was at scene. Yeah photos are comparable and videos nowdays so i mention other features that showed up already on 2019 competitors to Apple.

Face it, sales of the killer iPhone 13’s with that insane A15 Bionic are about to make poor Samsung’s S21 so-called Ultra look like an even bigger embarrassing flop. ????????

      September 16, 2021 at 9:55 pm

Fan boys trying to dunk on the other side sound so hilarious ???? I have an s21 ultra and everything I do on this phone is as fast as literally instant. They’re both good phones, and in 2021 in real world use you aren’t missing out on anything by getting one over the other. Enjoy the 13 my friend, I hope it delivers all you could want from a phone.
