I would like USB-C port. I agree with everything you said. IOS does need to be competitive in regards to lacking what Android has had for years. Apple used to innovate and set trends, now it seems to wait years before adding any improvements. Seriously considering going back to Android. I was hoping email widgets would have been interactive and update in real time but that did not happen.

sounds like you want Android. I don’t blame you, I was an android believer for a while. I just find it funny that these OSs used to be quite different and now they are more the same then different.

i personally just wish they can improve battery tech from over heating bc it’s annoying when you tryna game for long periods of times. even playing while plugged in ruins the battery and even ages it quicker. with apple say they stand by these so called “righteous principles” but stick to the way that most benefits them for example locking things like components wise that should be accessible and easy to repair if one were in that position. the right to repair is heart and soul of humanity’s order!

Lightroom on the iPhone already does copy and paste photo edits for free. And it’s a professional edit too.

I agree with all your suggestions. In addition, I’d like to see a USB-C port, Web Texting and RCS support for iMessage. As you said, a guy can dream.

T9 DIALING FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD.

    April 21, 2022 at 6:12 pm

I dont care about any of those stuff, I just want dialer to work like on android, when I start typing someones name in the dialer to pop out that contact and just press on contact and give a call and not to go to contacts and type the name and when you are done with the call you go back to contacts to call someone else first you need to delete previous text/name and than type something else, thats the worse thing on any iphone.

Split screen multitasking on the pro max models is that so hard to ask apple

    April 21, 2022 at 6:47 pm

The 3 dots on the bottom of the screen go, give us another row of apps instead. Also a “clear all/close all” option when I have multiple apps open while multitasking. And USB-C is way past due..

The “always on display” is a great idea and should not be difficult to implement.
The “split screen view” is the worst idea I have heard. I can imagine users complaining 24/7 regarding the split screen view not properly functioning. Forget about it!

    Here’s one thing i wish you’d mentioned!
Apple’s “Focus” mode is simply useless.. if not dumb!
I remember decades ago, Nokia phones had something similar; I could be wro g but I think they were called “modes”
Now here’s what I don’t see is this feature:
1- I have a “focus” mode set for work hours.. I customize it including who could call, and so on. But.. Even though i set it up to receive calls from my “contacts only” I still get scam calls all day long. If scammers calls still go through, and my phone RINGS… what does “contact only” mean then?!!

2- remember how we used to customize modes on the Nokia phones years ago, each mode its ringtone etc.. . Forget about ringtones, i just want to be able to customize volume levels.

For example; When im at the office/work I still WANT to receive calls and notifications, but would like to notification volume level to be lower. And since i have the “focus” set up to 8am-5pm, notifications volume level should go back to normal/default level when I leave the office at 5pm.
Is that too hard?!! Or am I missing something here?!!
    iPhone 11pro user
    Thank you

The Apple Pencil has good reason to be on the iPhone except cost it would require the special film that iPads have so the Pencil can be recognized. Making the iPhone cost more and having to buy the newest one with support just to use the pencil.

I dont have face id on my ipad

  33. Treshan Remolano

    April 22, 2022 at 2:25 pm

Why Apple Pencil support on iPhone? It may contradict Steve Jobs’ statement in 2007 “Who wants a stylus? You have to get ’em, put ’em away, you lose ’em. Yuck! Nobody wants a stylus…”. Software enhancements is much better for iPhone Pro Max users, since they had a bigger display, good for dual-app multitasking.

Apple Pencil for iPad is only enough for creative users and note takers, but it needs more improvement, while maintaining compatibility for existing iPad users.

You can throw away your wish list and just switch to Samsung/Android. Other than the first feature in the list, everything else have been available on Samsung/Android for years

Interactive widgets (including a Yellow Pages widget) that can be ANY SIZE I WANT and the ability to place apps/widgets WHEREVER I WANT!

Remove the App Library and instead swipe up or down from the middle area of the screen to view a list of apps and folders that I can arrange HOWEVER I WANT!

And better formatting options in the Notes app. At least the option to add text color and text background color. Also, the option to have different text sizes in a note.

The Calendar App isn’t intuitive. I can probably say the same about the Photos App and the Camera App.

I’d like a number row on the keyboard. Imagine not having to switch to the second page of the keyboard and then back to go back to text.
I also want to be able to arrange my apps the way I want to but take it a step further and get rid of the ridiculous wiggle mode.
