I was hoping they would have given more features to iMessage. I rarely use it unless I have to because I don’t really like it and I live outside US and almost everyone uses WhatsApp. I think WhatsApp is a more enjoyable messaging experience. It has more functions, easier to use and is a better looking App in my opinion.

So the way it’s presented, not excited for 15. Stick to your tech job, none of the ‘humor’ was funny

iPhones are like loaded out cars. A bunch of bells and whistles that you use once or twice when you initially get them but then never use them again. And in Apple’s case those bells and whistles will be full of bugs for a year until iOS 16 comes out. Then the cycle starts all over.

@ArthropodSpidey Apple has been doing that for years. Unfortunately, they’re the best option out there. I’m just tired of spending so much on their devices only to have to deal with constant bugs that they may or may not fix

I can’t wait for iOS 15 to drop. By then iOS 14 will be mostly bug free. Then I can wait another year for Apple to get the bugs out of iOS 15.

What bugs in 14 have you noticed?

    • TexasVet72

      June 8, 2021 at 7:21 pm

@Joseph Jones connectivity/modem issues, random battery drain after the initial 14.5 update, keyboard lag, intermittent sluggishness on my iPhone 11. Not to mention the Bluetooth connectivity issues. Sometimes my AirPods connect but I usually have to manually connect them. They just seem to rush iOS updates out only to have the consumer deal with issues until they fix it. Then the fix may create more problems. Android may have similar issues but I’ve been an iPhone use for the most parts for several years.

This year Apple will let you stay on iOS 14 and get bug fixes like MacOS.

Share Play sounds kind of cool on paper but it doesn’t seem practical at all and I can’t see many people using it. Who’s going to sit there on a video call with another person while watching an entire movie or an episode or two of a show? Plus, you both have to have the same streaming service and be able to watch it at the same time. Seems just easier to watch it and then call each other after to talk about it.

A lot of people actually, myself included. Especially during the pandemic, I’ve had a ton of watch parties on video chat.

Why don’t apple add these new features of their in software apps and all that
Update via the app store instead of introducing them through software updates

    Like Playstore does
    All google apps
When they have a new feauture to add
They will publish it on google play store

This is a waste of time to wait 1 year long for a software update that only focussed on in built apps

Apple ios 15 better add the battery percentage back in the right hand corner of the screen of the iPhone without having to drag down. It’s not conducive when you’re multitasking and the drag down feature interrupts your video, facetime, and other activities.

I can relate to the leaf blower example. My home office is right next to the compaund street and every week a person comes with a blower clean leaves and guess we has to find a way to talk with my coworkers and they could be able to understand what I say.
