Apple is very anti-competitive. They will always say it’s a “security issue” .

Apple has already shut it down somehow according to TC and Beeper Mini’s CEO

I hope this highlights how Apple’s trying its best to monopolize messaging. No one is asking for all this extra iMessage features. People just want a reliable way to text and send pictures regardless of what app or service they use like email.

I do wish most Americans would adopt WhatsApp, Signal or hopefully, Apple won’t severally handicap RCS in 2024

@@Wooperplus no, what it does is highlight a company that is trying to circumvent another company’s proprietary service to “fool” it. Blue vs green was never Apple’s problem or creation; Android and Apple users made that issue up all on their own. So no, Apple didn’t monopolize anything. They came up with a way to make their messaging better on their devices within its ecosystem for users of Apple phones. It’s not Apple’s fault that Android took its time developing RCS to make its texting better, and now, it’s somehow all Apple’s fault that messaging quality isn’t good between them, and people are whining because they don’t have “blue bubbles.” And before you come back with the “oh you’re an Apple fanboy” mess, I use both Android AND Apple (Galaxy Note 10, Tab S7, iPhone 15 PM, and 12 Mini) so I’m very well aware of and subjective to both sides.

@@ESN247 the quality is still heavily compressed on Whatsapp. Why do we need a 3rd party app to send messages and they quality is still bad? It shouldn’t be this hard.

And Apple will find a way to somehow mess up the quality.

Apple is anti-competitive. There is no reason why video’s and photos to be super compressed. It is terrible! It is no longer working anymore. Apple and other users – use “security ” as an excuse. I hope the EU steps in.
