I think he means urgent, most ted talks are important but he’s aggressive in this because the idea is urgent to preserve your free thought which is rapidly deteriorating when using these models

I don’t think I’ve ever used the word ‘delve’ in my life. I’ve also never used chatgpt. When I need to write a letter or an email to a client I am the only author.

Maybe it’s just me and my friend group, but saying the word delve has been something I’ve done all my life. Then again, I read a lot as a kid. And then I played a lot of Dungeons & Dragons where you delve in dungeon’s depths

… That’s about the limit of how many ChatGPT frequent phrases I could fit it.
Having to use ChatGPT frequently for work, I do feel that it is starting to affect how I write and talk to others.
I need to be constantly conscious of wording and phrasing to keep ChatGPT from going off the rails, and it is becoming a habit.
It took conscious effort to not type how I usually do to ChatGPT. Argh.
This video made me even more conscious of these new bad habits. Thank you for enlightening us before we all turn into trained-bots for ChatGPT.

“My ask is…” You mean to say “request”. “Ask” is a verb, not a noun. Knock it off. I never heard people use this phrase before the rise of AI use.

This is a term that’s been thrown around in the corporate world for decades. My dad uses it all the time. I think it’s dumb but it’s not an AI thing.

@Koala-0123I’ve seen my fair share of the corporate world for a while and haven’t heard it until recently. I’ve known people who didn’t used to say it suddenly begin to say it. It makes smart people in a professional setting sound very stupid.
