The songs are beautiful except for that stupid one they wrote for the movie, I have confidence in me. The story is totally bogus. It is mostly fabricated by Maria. They came to the US before WW2. Marie kept her kids as virtual prisoners in their lodge in Vermont, forcing them to perform. She was a tyrant. There was no need to cry. It never happened.
