When I checked myself in for SI, the EMTs were convinced I was having a heart episode. I told them I was in the midst of a panic attack. They didn’t believe me. The ER did.

whenever I got to examination, the doctors also never found anything even though I clearly knew trouble was happening and an alternative healer would also diagnose a problem. once, the doctor would tell me after making a measurement on the EKG, that “it would seem that right now you are not undergoing any major heart attack” 😀 wtf and rofl, what is that answer! 😀 they know nothing.

I think most people would say their mother, not the heart logo.

Nah, if you asked a bunch of people on the street what image they associate with love, I bet almost all of them are going to say a/the heart.

Takeaway: Don’t let your emotions overrule your life.

sorry but by suppression of your emotions you exactly cause the harm. as he said, it reacts to unconscious processes. by pushing your emotions away from your conscious attention you push them into the unconscious.
if you can fully feel and process your emotions and feelings and consciously find a way to feel better, that would be different, but I guess that would not be what you meant. you meant to push the emotions away, right?
