Accept Christ in your heart to master all of life’s perceived transitions

Tough times? Try the duex ex machina of life crisis management: a promise that it’ll all be alright eventually, although quite likely after you’re dead. Enjoy the comfort of subscribing to the same relaxing ghost as those whom you are near geographically while being certain that people on other hunks of dirt are gullible losers for subscribing to the wrong fix-everything, somehow-certainly-humanlike, yet definitely invisible since cameras were invented, creature. I feel better already!

I strapped in for an hour long TED talk. Got a 2 minute intro. Now I gotta find the rest of the series.

@iPhone El Bey I clicked to hear a person engage their story in the moment. Your comment is dismissive. We don’t all need to be the same. There will always be room for more.

@Elle Your opinion is a non-sequitur. Thank you for sharing.

@Elle While I appreciate actual “Ted Talks”, this was click bait upselling. I hate ads of any sort, and this certainly is a 2 minute ad under the guise of a ted talk.

I’m not quite sure if I’ve “mastered” it yet.

Pay $34 to watch 16 seperate 2-3 minute videos. I got a gpt subscription for less than that and it gives me real answers.

of course it’s monetized. of course you have to pay for the series. i mean after all why would anyone want to help others purely out of the goodness of their heart? sad times we live in. kindness is a lost practice it seems

The relationship between farmers and the sun just got an upgrade #TEDTalks

Exhausted from carrying water up a hill to keep her small farm in Kenya thriving, Josephine Waweru received an unexpected call that offered a nearly unbelievable solution. She shares how one simple device allowed her crops (and her dreams) to flourish — and offers a glimmer of hope in the face of growing climate uncertainty.

Design consultant Virginia Santy set out to create an office space built specifically for women, flipping the script on the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways that workplaces and cities still fail them. The results were striking: greater productivity, deeper collaboration and an environment where women felt genuinely valued, leading her to ask a simple question: What would the world look like if we designed with women in mind?
