To conserve natural resources, we must learn to take immediate measures to ensure our environment is always at its utmost prime. Recycling and reusing wastes have made drastic changes as to how everything cycles in this world. Somehow we’ve committed ourselves to thinking that there’s hope in situations where you may find yourselves losing every bit of restored faith.

There should be a requirement that businesses have a purple dumpster marked REUSE where things are placed that can be taken and donated or reused properly…..
They also should be placed on all college campuses in the spring for dorm clean-outs which are notorious for sending tons of items that are reusable straight to our landfills…..
I’ve seen this waste and it is so sad.

What an incredible idea! It really is unbelievable that perfectly good items would be sent to landfill, when they have a huge carbon cost to make and are otherwise in perfect working order. Donating these items to start ups or community projects is such a good idea. We hope your initiative continues to gain success Garry!

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:

00:03 Cities generate a significant amount of waste and greenhouse gas emissions due to a linear economy.
01:36 Transitioning to a circular economy, where resources are reused and repurposed, can reduce emissions and create jobs.
04:42 Digital platforms can connect organizations and individuals to facilitate the exchange and reuse of materials and products.
08:53 Building operational capacity for recycling, remanufacturing, and repair is crucial for sustaining circular economies.
10:53 Smart public policy can incentivize participation in circular economic models.
11:23 Building 1,000 circular cities by 2040 could significantly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to meeting climate targets.

Asians are ahead in reusing the various materials may be due to low income or poverty. However, its a fashion among elites to buy decorative products made from used products.

This already existed in cities decades ago. Unfortunatelly, it became cheaper to buy anything new than to repair it. And with that, if you are expecting companies to give stuff away that costed money or that they spent money to get, you are out of touch with reality.

Binance founder, Changpeng Zhao, pled guilty to failing to maintain an anti-money-laundering program. He’s now been sentenced to four months in prison and agreed to pay a $50 million fine. Between Binance’s money laundering and FTX’s fraud scandal, can crypto be trusted now that these bad actors are in jail? Some folks view crypto as a silly, get-rich-quick gambit. Others view blockchains as the future of the internet and computing itself. But we’re learning where there’s potential to change the world, there is also a lot of room for scammers.
