at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

That what giving is all about. Instead of throwing out yesterdays leftovers, I sneak them into a cafe where I work and mix it into the soup of the day.

TED has lost the plot entirely. Absolutely mindless asinine leftist content. It really used to be Ideas Worth Spreading, but that was 10+ years ago.

@Vesa Wuoristo Your conception of equality is likely different than mine. I believe in equality of opportunity, you want equality of outcome. No thank you ma’am, I have history books so I’m not interested.

@LEV!ATHAN they didn’t say anything about equality of outcome. That was a claim you had to make to straw man them and strengthen your narrative. I know reading comprehension is hard when you barely got through the 8th grade, but at least try.

@Your Mom Swing and a miss. You’re referring to a comment that was a response to a previous comment that specifically said leftists are concerned with equality. Thanks for trying mom.

Activist employees? Simple. Sack them. Tell them to create a service, business or industry to compete on the grounds they wish.

You would be one of those whiney employers that complains about how no one wants to work anymore, when in reality it’s just that no one wants to work for you anymore. Try paying your employees fairly and addressing their concerns instead, tough guy. You’re a perfect example of an employer that sees employees as property, as slaves.

I want to share this with my coworkers and leadership at my company. Someone really needs to hear this. This topic is so relevant to what is going on in my workplace right now. Our leadership sucks! If you speak up they will not listen. They come up with fake solutions. So many are quitting or getting fired right now. And it’s leadership’s fault

*Unionize. Everything else is corporate misdirection.*

The largest transfer of wealth in human history has taken place in the last 4+ decades, costing American workers (on average) $1,000 a month.

Give the people who’ve been in the workforce since 1990 their $400,000+ back with compounded interest, and a few things will happen. (1) No more absolutely unnecessary multi-billionaires. (2) The worst communities in the US explode with prosperity. (3) The sensitivity plague will end. “Offensive language” falls onto deaf ears of the truly empowered. (4) Upward mobility becomes an instant reality for multiple generations who have been priced out of the real estate markets by the 1%, and were previously dead-end renters burning their capital to survive. (5) The continued downward spiral of decay is halted and reversed for the entire nation. For this is the only solution to what is currently a total inevitability.

There is no leadership in this arena. Everyone is just cowardly following wherever the crowd is going. It’s the definitive opposite of leadership.

“Inclusion” actually now means “no longer being able to have reasonable debate about stuff that matters, because that makes some people uncomfortable.” Whoever invites this into their organization and encourages it is playing with fire that will destroy them from the inside. It’s like actively doing gain-of-function research with mind viruses. Postmodernism destroys everything it touches. Any executive that encourages this doesn’t understand that they’re just a tool and they’re going to be disposed of just as soon as the strangler vine has sufficiently taken over its host. It’s all about power.

Employees will work hard and strive for betterment if they are actually rewarded for doing so, also don’t be loyal to one company, leave if it’s a toxic environment or it’s getting you down, find a different company.

In a part of the United States with more than 17,000 years of human history, cultural preservation advocate Tracie Revis is working to turn the Ocmulgee Mounds into Georgia’s first national park and preserve. This park would be co-managed by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, bringing the tribal voice back to an area they were forcibly removed from 200 years ago. Revis explores the complex feelings of caring for this land and shows how it’s fostering healing in return.
