Have you ever seen an overgrown plant with its branches growing wild?

Here in the world of Fabulous, the reason you begin with just one habit is to fortify your center first. Thicken your trunk to build the strongest foundation possible.

After solidifying one habit, you do not suddenly branch out in dozens. No. You choose only one more to add. Nourish it. Be patient, no matter how long it takes.

You are choosing the direction of how you will grow. You are sculpting the limbs of your tree. And it is beautiful.

The fact is, they didn’t just eat a plant-based diet, they were fed less junk food. That’s why they were happier, they probably lost weight. Now, what else were they being fed? More additives to their diet? Don’t tell me they only ate vegetables and fruit. No one can survive on that.

      April 22, 2023 at 8:57 am

According to every credible authority on diet, not only can anyone “survive” on only plants, it is far healthier.

Just because you don’t want to do it doesn’t mean it’s impossible. As a member of the former meat and dairy industry, they are lying to you when they say you can’t live on “veggies and fruits”. We can and it’s actually better for us, especially now considering how animals can experience biomagnification of toxins, posing a huge risk to our health.

Meat deliveres less greenhouse gasses than vegetables, as animals put back water and food into the soil, but vegetables do not. Worse still, grains are even worse for the soil as they use chemicals instead of natural food for the soil.

The best thing for the human body is the carnivore diet as many people and doctors are finding out. Eating the way our ancestors used to eat thousands of years ago.

  6. Toni

    April 22, 2023 at 7:40 am

You continue to wipe out the land growing rice and wasting all that water, for nothing. It’s only carbohydrates after all.

    • Barnaclebeard

      April 22, 2023 at 9:00 am

You are so triggered. You are posting nonsense because you cannot emotionally deal with the information you are receiving, so you have to lie to yourself over and over and over.

Because they are Asian? Racist much? Toni you need to do some self reflection if a Ted talk has you this pressed over your habits that you feel the need to make racist comments.

You are preaching to the wrong crowd. Preach to the FDA, the corporations who make junk food. Plus it is a KNOWN fact that plants proliferate in higher co2 levels, and of course the o2 level will increase, thus creating a high o3 level, and ozone protects our atmosphere. So, I don’t believe in “climate change.” I think it is a euphemism for, WE WANT CONTROL. I also think the population is being treated like a bunch of cattle. I eat steaks, I like steaks. I emit gas, and SO DO YOU. It was no smoking in public places, now its no eating junk food. The constitution is STILL in effect, PLEASE stop trying to strip it. If I want to eat junk food, Imagonna. If I wanna cuss and swear, Imagonna. And just because YOU say something doesn’t make it true. SHOW ME THE FACTS FROM REPUTABLE SOURCES! And not from the internet. Last thing, having a Phd doesn’t make you smart or a cop of other peoples behavior. Having a professorship doesn’t make you right. Thank you. Honestly, I feel happy when I do what I want to do, including, but not limited to, the kinds of food I choose to eat. And going back in history to study eating habits leaves out a WHOLE bunch of stuff you just don’t want to talk about. It looks to me like you are deceiving us. The big question now is…why?

When it comes to climate friendly policies I wish that they always are checked for convenience. Example: If the city needs more bike lanes, car traffic must be reduced – despite car users protesting. They soon will love the beautiful AND effective bike lanes (take a look at the Netherlands!). I wouldn’t switch to the bike either if the bike lane was still in smog and I had to stop at every corner to let cars pass.
The other thing is pricing: (night) train tickets MUST be cheaper than flights, even if it has to be subsidised. In my country kerosene isn’t even taxed, but the electricity for the train is!

Feng Shui should be standard and integrated into all living and work spaces. For example, you never want “poison daggers” circling above your head while sleeping.

Protein combining is bullshit. It’s almost impossible to have a critical lack of just some essential amino acids.
