Once a criminal, always a criminal.. Just because a court set an end date doesn’t mean society agrees with that date. All it means is they’re now living somewhere else. You did the crime, you’ll do the time right to the end.

Did you know you can be detained for seventy two hours for absolutely nothing…. Now , just imagine a false charge with fabricated by arresting officers, I hope you have money for an attorney , your vehicle , your rent and can explain to your boss what happened in a timely manner😂

I think your confusing listening with a therapist. The majority of imates will likely to return to prison is high and no amount of listening will change that- the system is designed to be a racist holding detention infinitely away from the major society where opportunities are limited by the default of your skin color. Minorities and Africans Americans are marginalized right out of birth- prisons and the ghetto isnt much different. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

What stays with me most is the moment Susan Burton asked why the system offered rehabilitation to some and prison to others, based on nothing but zip code. That’s not just a personal injustice; it’s a structural design flaw, and it points to something leaders in any organization should sit with: systems don’t fail randomly, they fail predictably along the lines of who they were built to serve. Scaling her model wasn’t about adding more compassion, it was about replicating a structure that made compassion consistent and repeatable. What would it take for more institutions to treat access to support as infrastructure rather than exception?
