في كل عام، ترسل سفارة الولايات المتحدة الطلاب والمهنيين الليبيين في برامج التبادل التي ترعاها الحكومة الأمريكية من خلال المسابقات المفتوحة القائمة على الجدارة. كان لهذه التبادلات تأثير في حياتهم وحياة أصدقائهم وزملائهم، سواء في ليبيا أو في الولايات المتحدة. أتيحت لفاطمة من ليبيا التي انضمت إلى برنامج YES في عام 2021 ، فرصة العام الماضي لمشاركة التقاليد الليبية والطبخ الليبي مع زملائها في الدراسة الذين لم يكونوا على دراية بليبيا. قدمت عرضاً ثقافياً لاقى استحساناً، وأعدت أطباقاً ليبية، وعرفتهم على الموسيقى الليبية!

في مدينة دلهي القديمة المسورة (في الوقت الحاضر دلهي، الهند).

وكانت بمثابة عاصمة ‘المغول’
حتى نهاية عهد الإمبراطور المغولي
‘محمد بهادر شاه’ عام 1857
حيث تم نفيه من قبل حكومة الهند البريطانية 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

استخدمته القوات البريطانية 🇬🇧
كمعسكر للجيش حتى استقلال الهند 🇮🇳 عام 1947.

وجعلوا الهند 🇮🇳 أغنى بلاد الدنيا 🌏.
لم يهتم الانجليز 🇬🇧 إلا بنهب خيرات الهند 🇮🇳
و إستعباد شعبها و تسببوا في موت الملايين من أبناءها في حروب بريطانيا العظمى الاستعمارية.

The servant mentality for leaders, like Ken said it’s regardless of place or position, should be first and foremost! In a world where people only notice and uplift the top 0.01% of business leaders, they miss so many important lessons and insights from smaller, more nimble teams that can serve their teams and their customers much more diligently (and often in novel or interesting ways!). Great talk, Ken.
