How many here made it a resolution to write everyday this year? Even if it’s just few hundred words. 🖐️

Writing is therapeutic. It gives you the place and time to express your deepest thoughts, often those which we suppress and find it hard to articulate.
Cdl George Pell wrote while in prison for a heinous crime he did not commit. It certainly is a way to communicate with your soul and find healing

Writing is a magical alchemical act.
It is important to understand that there are people in the world who believe that the only way to lift themselves up is to bring someone else down, and they do it to give their shame to another person. We must not accept their shame as our own.

Love this! Writing is my therapy, I feel it helps me more that any therapist has ever! Helped me listening to someone constantly say how does that make you feel does not help.

am I the only one who see this as hate speech, you could have reasoned with him tell you dont talk about that stuff and your done with conversation, or do it in a professional manner or make a joke about it. but you chose to hate him for questions or ignorance rather then showing how wrong he is or that he shouldn’t do it.

time is money, and socialism is a sinful ideology. like when one person steals from another, we call it theft. When a whole bunch of people do it, we call it war.

I have the greatest respect for this young lady. She said it, how it is. I wish I could shake your hand! There are so many people suffering, so many people who feel invisible because other people ignore them, ignore their pain. Just sayin I‘m no exception. I‘ve been on both sides. The fear of standing up for someone else‘s rights, is paralysing. Even for your own rights, it‘s never easy. You sometimes think, ahhh just don‘t take things so personal, they didn‘t mean it that way. But they did, and they thrive on your pain. And when someone else is being bullied, onlookers are just glad it‘s not them. The point is: We all have only one life to live. So how can any human being waste even 1 second on hate crimes? When love, respect & empathy are so much more powerful! Now I‘m going to listen again to this awesome talk.

You are an intelligent and kind young woman. Yet you still have much to learn about setting boundaries with other people regardless of their “position” and if you ever are made to feel uncomfortable sexually by anyone, you do not owe that person or persons anything other than to assert your right to be left alone. I know it’s shocking but the sooner you realize that behavior is just plain disgusting and inexcusable you will not be afraid to tell them to F off! And then get away to safety! Remember, for women being rude is not something you normally do. However, it’s better to err on the side of caution and say “GO AWAY! DON’T TOUCH ME! I’M CALLING 911!” and end up a little embarrassed if nothing happens but most times those guys are up to no good so be loud, rude, draw the attention of others so you don’t end up a victim.
