That’s a dumb talk because the world is filled with crazy hackers whose sole aim it is to suck all the joy out of your life.

@AngelinaSouren Please elaborate, what was it specifically that you tried to accomplish when you considered to write this comment the way you did?

One of the greatest things in life is reaching a point in life when you can spend time helping others with no expectation of profit. The mental benefits are amazing. Oh unless your super rich it’s better to give time than money.

It’s easy to give without profit.
It’s very hard to give to those that abuse you.

It sounds like you are having am unhealthy marriage. Can you elaborate?

    • Shane Bro

      December 23, 2022 at 7:27 pm

@Dimitros Ya, it was a joke. Guess you did not read the last 3 words I wrote. I totally agree with the speaker. Make giving a part of your life, like brushing your teeth, eating or walking. Giving is something that needs to be done, like giving my wife 3 kids.

    • Dimitros

Happiness fades. Meaning and purpose endure. Happiness is ephemeral and can be reduced to dopaminergic action. Meaning and purpose are products of executive functions. At this point in our evolution, think deeper and elaborate on your existence! You are an important part of our future. Please, visualize your place in it.

Love is not something you can earn. Love is a gift freely given, expecting nothing in return. If you are expecting something in return for your “gift of love” then it’s not real love but rather a transaction. Even worse, it’s a transaction established without the other party’s consent. It’s manipulative, self seeking people pleasing that stems from insecurity.

I do get pleasure out of helping others. Then I feel guilty about that because I should be altruistic for its own sake 😓

Bad has a way of inserting itself into the good. Bad wants the good to stop. Guilt is bad. Good is measurable in smiles, compassion, sympathy & empathy. Good is a choice 💕
