Great video. Classic CNET. This is what we are after.
For government/WEF propaganda we already have all of mainstream media.

I’m just really happy they didn’t add a white bezel.

$1199? Rejoice if you are in US. In OZ Land, it’s $1999 for the 256gb

It’s finally time to upgrade from my 2013 MacBook Air. Wonder how much faster this one will be? Wish the model with the larger SSD also had 16GB RAM by default, I’ll have to do a custom order to future-proof it for another 9 years!

That would be the biggest movement on laptops in general. We hope a complete goodbye to the trashy vga cameras!

I am kinda bummed about them taking the wedge away. I came from a 2011 MBP with the hard edges and thought that it wasn’t comfortable for resting your palm for long periods. They should round those edges like they did with iPhone SE2/3s or 6/S.

I know this is wishful thinking. I would’ve loved to see the m1 MacBook Air become 899, the m2 MacBook Air become 1099. I get the m1 has retained its value more or less even now—but it feels annoying to see a 2 year old device not go down in price

This seems better than my M1 13” Pro….

I think the extra $200 is just the reality of inflation and the continued R&D and shipping/logistics costs Apple has to do to get us these better products in 2022+. If the laptop lasts you 5 years on average (and many last longer than that, look at the 2012 macbooks still in use today) then that’s only like $240 a year, plus, you can always resell the device down the line when you upgrade.

Your eyes is not looking on the camera while speaking. Don’t tou think that is annoying. It is like you are talking to someone but not looking on the eye. Very rude.

I wish we had prices like in the US. In Germany the base model is gonna cost a whopping 1500€, so over 1600$, which is absolutely nuts…

  25. McLOVIN

    June 7, 2022 at 9:25 pm

    I don’t think this’ll go back to 999

  26. Insane Films

    June 7, 2022 at 9:27 pm

This is just advertising. You’re not acting like a journalist. The only drawback is the higher price? You didn’t even mention the fact that this still only supports a single external monitor. Be a journalist not an influencer.

ok so basically it’s the 14in MBP with different internals and slightly thinner. Bravo. We waited a WHOLE YEAR just to get that news out. Everything has changed…..oh ya, I forgot, basically it’s more affordable for those who want to have Apple but feel the burn of an extra grand. Great innovating Apple…….
