Can’t do simple price conversions on phones (and other US products) anymore. Will cost more due to tariffs

    • @sawyerleemoore

      March 19, 2025 at 2:20 pm

$500 USD is $716 CAD so fair price based on exchange.

    • @nickbromhall

      March 19, 2025 at 11:33 am

Nonsense. If people are dumb enough to buy the iPhone 16e, then there’s nothing wrong with the 9A.

  14. @Kridez23

    March 19, 2025 at 1:32 pm

Why do these phones look the same 😢

    • @marksouthwell4490

      March 19, 2025 at 4:51 pm

      Because they’re all slabs

  15. @Harsha_D

    March 19, 2025 at 1:41 pm

@ 1:34 It’s really a dumb design. You may have seen this dull design in older OPPO smartphones (like it was 6 or 7 years back which were ‘OK’ish at that time). I think the Google Pixel team just used the “copy pasted” formula for the pixel 9A phone.

    • @marksouthwell4490

      March 19, 2025 at 4:55 pm

Sshhhhh other phone companies will be copying the flat back look soon

  16. @moisessilvaquintero42

    March 19, 2025 at 1:46 pm

I love how plastic was used for the back for the pixel 9a. I went from an S21 to an S25 and I preferred the plastic back of the s21. Glass just gives me that extra bit of anxiety that it might crack. I do have a case on my phone but it is still something that sits in the back of my mind.

    • @kawaiidere1023

      March 19, 2025 at 8:51 pm

Same. Absolutely need a case for glass and even then it might still break. Plastic or metal are just so much nicer in the hand in a practical scenario

  17. @rolins3279

    March 19, 2025 at 1:51 pm

    Hum 🤔

For $500, you can have, a OnePlus 12, S24 (Snapdragon), iPhone 15… but especially if you necessarily want a Pixel, a Pixel 9.

    🚶🏽‍♂️ 🚶🏽‍♂️ 🚶🏽‍♂️

    • @marksouthwell4490

      March 19, 2025 at 4:54 pm

Where is that shop , I like the prices 😉

  18. @Samuelhere41

    March 19, 2025 at 4:15 pm

Might upgrade from my samsung galaxy note 8.

  19. @Ben-bj1oz

    March 19, 2025 at 4:46 pm

This phone destroys the 16e in every way

    • @marksouthwell4490

      March 19, 2025 at 4:52 pm

Not in every way. I’ll leave you to think about that . I love pixels and iPhones 😉

    • @Ben-bj1oz

      March 19, 2025 at 6:42 pm

@ bigger screen , bigger battery life , 120hz screen and cheaper (with likely discounts to come unlike Apple) . Sounds like a better phone to me

    • @XiWein

      March 19, 2025 at 8:12 pm

not a tough title to beat tho!!
