New hardware features will mean nothing if they don’t get the software bugs corrected.

Designer did a great job I hope the style and future changes are suttle and refined as I love the distinct look of the pixel it’s super beautiful.

The camera bar, be it on the 6 OR the 7 make the Pixel a standout from all o/phones. The 2 tone on the 6 made them even MORE unique than the single color the 7 now has, and forgive me…but the color choices now are even MORE bland than they were on the 6.

It going to look great in my case! ????

@Tom Burden It’s then the CASE that is seen other than the camera bar.

*Pixel 6a is truly the hidden gem now.*
It has almost everything that most avg users need while being 90% similar to Pixel 6/7.

I’m keeping my 6 Pro 4-5 years. Not sure why all the kiddies must waste money on the new shiny things that are basically the same as what they have now.

  15. schlunggi cheib

since i bought the regular pixel 6 i might eventually upgrade to the 7pro, 5x telephoto is a neat thing to have.
that said: if i had the px6 pro i would skip the 7th gen and wait for the 8th.

The 7 pro goes a little further with 512gb storage. You do realize that is double the storage not exactly a little bit more.

Okay, so basically nothing new and notable. Looks like I’ll be getting an iPhone this year. I’ve long been tired with Google’s BS anyway.

I don’t like that the aluminum is recycled. The very idea of buying a new cell phone makes me sick. My Pixel 2XL is chugging along just fine thank you very much. I would never trust Google or Apple with my fingerprint or face. 1984 is real, it’s here and now.

Google handing out free VPN on Pixel 7 doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Consider a company that collects data at it’s core trying to hand out free VPN. Even if they state that their VPN have a no log policy, I still wouldn’t trust their VPN.

Why do all reviewers complain about a missing wall adapter. It’s 2022! Everyone already has half a dozen of them at home, two in the car, and two more at the office. Better to get the device a bit cheaper.
