I thought the event production was well done. It had a nice aesthetic and felt genuine in a way that tech events often don’t. The presenters had some personality and talked about or demonstrated their own use cases for the devices. They didn’t feel like automatons that adapt their own lifestyles to fit the tech features thrown at them.

Other than an extra 2 GB of RAM, is there any COMPELLING reason to pay $200 more for the Pixel 5 over the 4A 5G?

90hz, wireless and reverse wireless charging, aluminum build quality, very thin bezels and chin compared to pixel 4a and 4a 5g, handy at 6 inches

Uh yeah… There’s a whole digit difference between 4 and 5 so totally worth it 😂😂

I really wanted to see some sort of LiDAR capability or something else truly cutting on the hardware side. Augmented Reality features are what’s going to push me kicking and screaming over to the Apple camp.

128GB unlimited cloud back up with Google One for 6 months and Stadia and YouTube TV or music, $699 would be a sweet deal.
I have the Pixel 3axL which has been discontinued, I’m pretty annoyed with that.
    I should tell them.

Ugh… I loathe remote controls. It’s not as bad as it used to be. When we had a VCR, a DVD, a TV, a cable box, entertainment system, remote control dog etc…

But a remote control just means something else that I’m going to have to frantically tear tear apart the couch looking for.

The Google tv product isn’t available in stores. All stores list having it on Oct 6. Google released their video a week early. But retailers don’t have it to sell.
