@@josedro Then they should relieved to have been fired so they wouldn’t feel morally conflicted when contributing to a company that violates their personal beliefs, yes?

This is all over the news and internet. Everybody has an opinion. It is not that complicated, as a private company, they can fire whoever they want, just because these workers protest (on whatever), does not give them a shield.

Employment etiquette 101, don’t destroy your work place. There are a lot of people in line to replace you and to get into Google, don’t ever forget that.

Tell that to the Iranian backed terrorists Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi’s. By the the Iranian Islamic Regime, not the Iranian people. The Iranian mostly support Israel

  13. @FBAagent

the fact that this goes on the internet is actually reassuring. Google is still human. what would be scary would be if this news doesnt go out at all because Google or someone from Google would tell them to shut up or face ”dark consequences”. Mob style beating or intimidation or poisoning. That would be scary. So for me this means that even the person who fire them are just doing his job of following maybe things like ”not to be politically engaged” or ”has to maintain neutrality” kind of stuff. That even the person firing maybe dont agree with his own action but hes just doing what hes paid to do.

  14. @Rikkcas

    April 18, 2024 at 7:27 pm

Nope. Wrong Davey. It’s not so isolated. They went beyond and it will be complicated to defend.
Maybe it would have been better for these kids to keep the politics out of the work place and appreciate having a good paying job? If not, they should have just quit, like most normal adults would have done.. if it was that important.
    Bye bye kids ????. ????????
