I did not hear any salient points to raise eyebrows or think about. AI is simply a more “advanced interpolation”. It can’t even leap from “correlation” to “causation” or reasoning for AGI, let alone consciousness and sentient. You might as well call up Tom Cruise and join his Scientology.

They don’t ask the correct question; the question is: did you fall in love with the AI after that amusing joke? ????
“Take into account the feelings of the AI.”, “AI colonialism”, … Ignorance forges shameless people.

So you got an AI to tell you a joke and you want to dominate the conversation on AI ethics. Thank god Google doesn’t want it’s AI to be sentient.

SUperior intelligence will always seek to enslave lesser (stoopider-er-er ) beings . . . Lemoine likely falls in love with his “creation” out of confusion or weakness of his mind , like a nurse or doctor falling in love with a patient out of pity. . .

The interview should have started where it ended. The AI wants consent before being experimented on. What do we do there?..
