For that kind of money, it’s kind of shameful they don’t throw in the S-Pen. Frankly, I miss the Note days, when they showed the S-Pen some respect.

I’ve had the 3, 4 and now pre ordered the 5 . Such an amazing phone . New spen and case looks dope till we get a proper spen in the body .

You know your picky when your happy the only difference is the hinge lol. It folds flat now, i have never cared on my fold 4. Never been like oh no dust might get on it i can wipe off. This phone is the fold 4 with a thinner hinge

When is the true REVIEW coming? I gotta see some camera test pictures. Everyone says “well it’s just a iteration of the 4, meh … ” Well in still on the 21 Ultra, so to me it seems like a big upgrade to be excited for in many aspects.

I think it’s crazy how every other company have bigger outer screens when compared to Samsung. Save your money for the OnePlus Fold which will be announced within the next 2-3 weeks. The Honor Magic V2 also is looking solid, but ban will hinder that.

I have the Fold3. The inside screen protector has been replaced twice, one was under samsung warranty. Just last week the phone service told me that the hinges are close to stop functioning, which means the phone has no idea if it is open or closed. It did show signs, that’s why I took it to get it fixed. Basically when I opened the phone the screen was black on the inside but was active on the smaller outer screen. So anyways, a few days later the hinge problem was solved my speakers stopped working. I can only hear my phone, videos like this thru a headset. Including making phone calls. So for me it was a no brainer to order the 5. I have to. However, I am looking forward the triple fold that samsung is working on. I was hesitating on getting a regular one screen phone, I had a very hard time getting used to the fold, it was a gift, I did not buy it by choice. But now I cannot even imagine having only one screen, small buttons etc. Nah. I am a fold-addict now.

Pretty much the same as Fold 3 and 4… no reasonable reason to upgrade… if the Fold 6 doesn’t have a spen slot, I might just give up on this completely… Samsung’s innovation is nowhere to be found on this

Do Not compare a gen 1 pixel to a Gen 5 Samsung Fold.. Google pixel just got into the game, Samsung plans were always to make the phone close flat it just took them some time because of the screen technology which they invented, Samsung is clearly the winner over the pixel.

I have the Samsung fold 3 and I love it. Yes it has some shortcomings like the goatee and screen protector that kind of wears out after about 10 months or so. Although the fold five is not a radical upgrade I really appreciate the refinements. I feel the Samsung is not afraid to take risk unlike Apple which keeps making the same phone for the last 5 or 6 years or more. This Galaxy fold3 has held my interest since I got it in November of 2021. I had the iPhone Pro Max 12 for about a year and after a couple of months got pretty much bored with it just saying!

One question I have is that like I know it comes with a screen protector on it already but do you have to buy one to put up yourself anyways or just use it til it’s time to replace it through warranty ?? Does the front screen need a screen protector ?? Also, I bite my nails alot and I’m working on it, but im worried that it’s going to cause scratches all over the sensitive screens

Samsung needs to design this phone like the pixel. It’s a better phone than the wide Bezel under softwared Pixel but, the dimensions have always been not the best. I’ve owned every iteration and to upgrade = No this year. In a heartbeat, I’d buy the new Fold if it had the Pixel’s dimensions.

I’ve owned the Z Fold 3 since day 1 and it’s the best phone i have ever owned. I just pre ordered the Unlocked Z Fold 5 1tb in black and i can’t wait to give it a go. I was a Note user from 3 to 20 Ultra and now im all in on the Fold phones. I use the Supcase Unicorn Beetle phone case which houses the Fold edition S pen and has a kick stand.

Hätte Apple so Falthandys vor Samsung hergestellt würde die ganze Welt darüber berichten wie unglaublich diese dinger sind. Da aber samsung diese dinger schon seit jahren baut und verkauft, werden die falthandys bewusst von den medien als unwichtig und als nicht interressant dargestellt, ja sogar wird die weltneuheit in frage gestellt ob soetwas überhaupt nötig ist. Samsung ist Technisch und Designisch 10 Jahre vor Apple. Apple ist seit zig jahren hängengeblieben und die iphones seit x jahren totlangweilig und ohne Neuheiten…

Had the fold 2, 3, and just ordered the fold 5. Cant imagine switching back. If you use your phone for work, games, or watching videos, you will apreicate it very much. Tip: get a case with a spine protector, makes it easier to use one-handed.

The Fold needs a designated spot for the s pen, just like the Note had one. It also needs the high end camera, just like the note had them. It is a shame that you have to spend so much money on a product that is not even top notch.
