The price it’s kinda high, but just as it happened with the fold 3, in 6-7 months you will be able to find it at 1100-1200$, at that price,this phone it’s definitly the best choice by far, in my opinion.

I had the Z Fold3, I now have the 4. The difference in weight really impressed me and the wider front screen has me using it more. I’d honestly say if you have the 3, moving to the 4 isn’t a bad upgrade.

Technological advancement is not when one can fold a phone in half.
Technology is when a phone’s thickness is halved, when folded.
….and why Samsung hasn’t got it after all these years, beats me.
Working as an ICU Physician, I found the weight and thickness of the phone to be a real bother. While bending to do an invasive procedure, the presence of a heavy phone shifting side to side after donning a sterile scrub gown becomes suddenly apparent. Lest there’s a call !, asking a colleague to retrieve the phone from under, is only for those who can brave the tickle.
Do try retrieving this phone from the front right pocket of your jeans while driving.
In short this phone is not for someone with deep pockets (pun intended).

$1800 on phone is ridiculous but I traded in s22 ultra and paid extra $900 for fold 4(512gb) + galaxy watch pro 5 + s-pen official case. Yes, it is still expensive but not too bad. Fold 4 is like a new world. I love it. Even though, it is not perfect yet, it has so much potential. This is a phone to watch out for next few years. Traditional single screen phones are just too small for my taste. 🙁

When you fold the phone In a tripod style does rhe keyboard appear on the bottom half of th screen? If it does and takes up the whole bottom part of the screen..that would be a major attraction for the phone.

I have the fold 2 and I never use flex mode due to the screen protector starting to peel at the hinges and allowing bubbles to form after using it in that way. It’s returned to normal over time but I only ever have it closed or fully open to prevent this from happening. I love the phone and will eventually upgrade but I’m in no hurry.

Would never go back to a regular phone form factor. The z fold is fantastic and shouldn’t be compared to Apple or anything g else. It stands apart on its own with nothing to compare. Great phone, great tablet, great all around. Stop talking about the crease, not an issue!!! Price for value $$$$ !!! Stop. Fantastic device. Stop trying to find negative things to say, stop listening to the whining on social media. Get your hands on one so you can make an informed decision. Stand out from the crowd unfold, Zelax, Zunique, Zdynamic, Zindividual, you will never go back.

Honestly such an insiteful and useful video. I am an avid Samsung user and currently am on a Note 20 Ultra. My upgrade is currently due. Disappointed Samsung took my Note phone away and was particularly unimpressed with the S22 Ultra. The Z Fold 4 has my attention and so does the Iphone. With the 14 on the horizon I am in two minds. Is it time for change or do I stick to this revolutionairy new formula.

I’ve had an iPhone since 2008, this is the first Android device that I’m thinking of switching for. Currently waiting on the iPhone 14 release and to see what the carrier incentives are. They are pretty big for the Z Fold 4.

But rub your fingers on the crease in the Fold 3 at the same time as the Fold 4. You would see that the crease is 50% less. But the Hinge got smaller and seems cheaper even though it holds a position better in flex mode. Still the Best Entertainment phone ever invented

The screen protector on my inner screen has started to lift away from the cease and is visually annoying. Not sure if I’m gonna try and replace it or not.
I can see myself staying with the fold tho. I’ll probably wait till fold5 to upgrade

I bought this a day after learning about the new release. I ditched the iphone 13 pro max for the Z fold4 . I feel like a kid lost in a candy store all over again! The sentiments are equal to the days when i first came intouch with the iphone 4 on day 1. There is no way I can go back again.

@Chandan Sharma the biggest pain will be transferring whatsapp data if that means anything for u. U can use samsung switch app to connect both phones. Choose move to Andriod on whatsapp from the iphone. I am dealing with over 1gb of backup on whatsapp so it took sometime. The first backup from whatsapp to the Google account takes even longer the first time. Thereafter it’s been smooth sailing and rapid. Most apps work the same. Colour wise samsung can be over the top. I set my display to natural mode n use this app color calibrator to minus the yellow cast to match my calibrated monitor on my pc. Yes its a third party app working on top of everything else. Just no way ios would allow this! I have spent quite sometime with the learning curve. I am astounded android is so far ahead of the game. Ios has its beauty n dated to say the least. There are times I do miss the elegance. Moving forward with times with a tablet phone, the screen size n camera on fold4 are truly astounding. And the ability to copy n paste directly into and from the phone without any app is so helpful on the pc. With iTunes any images/video uploaded is a read only on the iPhone. There is no management option on the iphone to deal with the backup from itunes at all. Your only choice is manually click the list on itunes or icloud with subscription eventually. So glad to leave after serving 10 years with ios. Your mileage may vary. I am glad to say goodbye to iphones. Good luck.

Alright so I went from the S21 ultra to the S22 ultra to the ZFold4. Heres my thoughts. I Love the fold. I thought I would have an issue with its size and was prepared to send it back to Samsung if I didnt like it but I really do. I personally feel like I get a better battery life on the ZF4 than on the S22U. I like having the flat screens and that I can actually, functionally multitask. Dragging/dropping pics from your gallery to an outlook email gives me a sense of empowerment that I never really thought I was lacking lol. And for those websites (usually work related) that are best viewed in desktop mode the fold makes that experience much more pleasurable.

I had the Z Fold 2 and returned it because it had too many compromises in relation to my S20 Ultra at the time. Mainly the cameras, lack of water resistance and the outside screen being to narrow. I now have the Z Fold 4 and have kept it over the S22 Ultra because all of those things have been corrected enough that they are no longer deal breakers. Still room to improve for next year.

I just switched from the 22 ultra to the fold 4 and I absolutely love the fold 4 . The only thing I wish they would add is 2 more speakers and make it a quad speaker setup

The battery for the fold 4 is a beast compared to the fold 3. Trust me. I have both of them in my hands right now. It may seem identical when u have them side by side for the 1st time, but its different as you use it. Didn’t regret one bit. Coming from a note 10 user to a fold 3 & 4.

I have the z fold and z fold 2 and there is absolutely no review by anyone that could motivate me to buy another foldable device. Just today in JC Penny the sales lady was so amazed at my z fold 2 when I pulled it out. Right away the conversation went from what I was looking for in the store, to all things z fold. No one cares about the generation, whe they see the fold, it’s still the next best thing. Hard freaking pass on every last device coming out until the battery in my device burns out. These reviews are utterly redundant and nonsensical now. And dude needs to lose at least 50lbs.

Fold 1, 2, 3 here. Nothing much has changed. Samsung should fired their Design and Creative Department for stunningly poor decision making. Its mediocre at best. Mark this Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be mediocre like the Fold 4.

I just bought the 4 and I love it! The display is beautiful, the speakers sound great. Normally when the phone is on I never see the crease. I only see it when the screen isn’t lit. It’s pretty seamless to me. Never owned a foldable before but I’m glad I went this route. Still not happy about not having expandable memory though. Shame on Samsung

I had thought about it but I believe Samsung fell short of making the Z Fold 4 a true powerhouse. Therefore, I won’t be giving $2000 or more for the 1TB model that I would get. I’m waiting to see how the iPhone 14 Pro Max turns out.
