Why is the Z Flip 3’s battery so low though? It’s 3300 mAh whereas my S20 FE 5G has 4500 mAh.

I don’t think the flip has SD 888 only the fold. But it does indeed have SD 888 after checking. I thought it was SD865.

But is it actually a flagship phone? It’s a great improvement on previous models, but it lacks so much. The camera isn’t great, it does not have a SD card slot, and no dust resistance. The Note 20 Ultra keeps me from lugging my Nikon DSLR all of the time.

Yes. It’s a flagship phone. It’s got snapdragon 888, 120hz refresh rate, and water resistance. But because it folds, it has compromises. It has less room for battery and SD card. And it’s really hard to seal from dust. But even non folding phones don’t have SD in 2021

A New processor and it folds. That’s all it takes to be a flagship phone?!? Water resistance helps. I can use it in the rain, but I must make sure I run the vacuum at home. I’m glad I have home server. And does it have DEX? Sigh
I’ll hold on to my Note 20 Ultra. As a matter of fact, I’ll root it so that the updates don’t turn it into a paperweight over time.

Wish it was a bit bigger than its size. And better camera. But for price ,I guess thats not too bad and really thinking about getting this phone and I only had my Note 20 5g since mid last year and ready for a new phone already.

Does nobody want to talk about how are we going to install a screen protective layer on a flip phone ? I mean Samsung did made a statement on the new z flip 3 that the screen is stronger and resilient from its predecessor. But you never know right.

The only thing i’m concerned of would be the 3300 mAh battery life tho…im still on my note 8 which have the same battery size, im gonna say..im not please with the battery life…with Flip 3’s upgraded specs would 3300mAh be a problem tho…??HMMMM

but the processor of note 8 is engraved in 10nm where that of flip 3 is engraved in 5 … This difference changes a lot of things in theory! and then the screen is smaller

This is the future. If this phone can hold with out problems, then fellow citizens the world has been changed once again. Imagine being able to fold a digital high performance screen in 2 and putting it in your pocket??? A device that is your card to living on earth, now foldable??? No more unfoldable, space consuming, hard candy bar devices?? I see and feel apple and other may follow suit. Watch this space.

Looks like samsung finally got tired of copying everything Apple does with the iPhone. Hopefully this gives the other phone manufacturers confidence to do something different with their product. Back in the day smartphones all looked different. Cell phones were different. Then they all started copying the iPhone, and YES that’s a fact- they all started copying the iPhone. Leading to it becoming a normal overused a boring design. I no longer use Samsung phones, but this was one of the best business decisions in recent Smartphone history. I really like this from them.
