I have the s22 ultra.. it’s good but I don’t see much difference other than camera… it’s close to my previous one.. s20 fe … but I’m still learning how to use all the goodies

He touched on Samsungs zoom capabilities, didn’t talk about iPhone macro camera. I feel like macro mode is worth taking into consideration

If you use your phone as a phone get the iPhone or Pixel. If you use your phone as a phone and want the best multi media device. Get the S22 Ultra. Or just wait for the iPhone 14 and Pixel 7 as they will be incredible.

  13. LcSebastian

    February 24, 2022 at 6:38 pm

this video is more focused on the Samsung phone, the first photos indoor the Pixel 6 Pro has way better shadow detaills than both of the other phones, and that persist throuought the test. All 3 phones are great, but for photos, Pixel is the winner.

    • Darrel

      February 24, 2022 at 8:16 pm

The Pixel photos don’t have natural colors compared to the other two phones. The pixel photos can be seen as too bright. It also has images that can be considered too sharp. The reality is that all three cameras have enough detail. I think it depends on what kind of photos you want. I would probably go with the Samsung phone because of the zoom. I’m not sure what the pros are for the Pixel other than software that deletes background images.

    • Thiccls

      February 24, 2022 at 9:04 pm

I was the thinking the same, and the high res zoom on the pixel is actually superb, I think it could have held its own against the Samsung using 10x zoom on both, and not to mention the astro photography mode with knock both out of the park

It’s not very fair to say the iPhone’s images are cold-looking and dark when you can just change that in the photo styles… it’s preference at the end of the day

There was not point in including the pixel 6pro.

I love how we’re still calling smartphone phones. Even though technically you most of the time we don’t really use them as a phone. You get people that get mad at you for leaving a voicemail. To call it a phone and this time of age seems contradictory.

Great review, but why didn’t you use the 108MP mode, that would blow the competition. infact no reviewers use the 108MP mode, we users do

    February 24, 2022 at 9:52 pm

Why are all the shots of architecture and landscapes. Where are the photos of actual people, especially people of color? The Pixel 6 has something called “Real Tone” built into the camera software that helps a lot preserving accurate skin tones in photos for people of color. How do these other phones deal with different skin tones, do they have something built in like the Pixel’s “Real Tone”?

Maybe I’m wrong but from my experience, the average person takes way more photos of people than landscapes and architecture. One look at what people post on Social Media will tell you that

Wow .. I expected much better from the iPhone. And the Pixel 6 & 6 Pro .. I was hoping for a LOT better from them. I was so disappointed with all the issues with the Pixel 6’s … decided to go with the 5A instead. For my needs, it’s awesome. The pics are really good .. and its battery life is out of this world.

Why not compare it to S21 Ultra? That’d be a more interesting comparison for current S21 Ultra owner and those who are most likely wanting to get the S22 Ultra.

The day I would see Google out-doing Apple in camera tech/specs. I just got my S22 Ultra today, so it’s side by side will be with my already Note 10+. I’m a Samsung user & been comfortable for the past 9 years with them. Apple just isn’t for me. Can’t say I have heard anything bad nor good about Google with their Pixel line. Still relatively new in the established smartphone area.

Come the iPhone 14, Apple hopefully and should be changing up their camera specs. But until then; Google is coming for blood in that fight. Both with their android brethren, the Galaxy line, along with Apple.

    February 25, 2022 at 7:21 am

S22 might zoom in further but that doesn’t mean it’s better. The quality is awful and it’s so shaky. For that much money it’s not a good deal. Pixel for the win and iPhone a close 2nd.

  33. lilgman191

Why everyone so apple bias, they keep promoting Apple “natural” making people assume it better. Do a blind comparison and see what happens 🤔

The zoom makes all the difference. If your colours are a little iffy or the WB is wrong or the shot is a little soft you can edit to fix most of that stuff. Being able to optically zoom in 10x to get your composition is a significant advantage. I was especially impressed the S22 could take a night shot, zoomed in, that came out that well.

I think this will be my upgrade from my aging S8+.

  37. Vavilla Sai Viswanath

Why did you even include pixel 6 pro when you don’t compare it or talk about it that much in your video

  38. Nima Malayeri

    February 25, 2022 at 12:11 pm

why this video is Full HD in 2022? if you don’t use 4k it doesn’t mean people are stuck in old tech, the video looks so pixelated in high end display

  39. Naa Ishtam

    February 25, 2022 at 12:43 pm

6:45 yet you picked iPhone with 1 image result.. don’t need to follow ur worst reciews

  40. Gautam Saharan

IPhone is clearly winner here …..all natural colors

  41. Leroyrs

    February 25, 2022 at 1:59 pm

Image quality of all phones are good enough. The zoom lense of the S22 Ultra is amazing but not important for me. I prefer the image quality of the Pixel and the video quality of the iPhone. So I stay with the 13 Pro Max. No need to switch back to Android.

  42. Jordan Harris

Biased review, probably paid by Samsung.

  44. Jake Stumbaugh

    February 25, 2022 at 3:39 pm

The ultra is a very fragile phone though

  45. Douglas Dever

    February 25, 2022 at 3:46 pm

All of these reviews are subjective and if you cannot see the actual subject at the time of exposure; then it is impossible to determine if the color is correct not. Case in point, the blue sky looked way over saturated by iphone, washed out in Pixel about right in Ultra. But I was not there to see was the color that vivid blue?
Also seems like every person who can afford at least two of these phones is making a review of the cameras and again; their ideas of correct exposure are theirs and not necessarily others.
Only exact determination that can be made is if a photo is in focus or if there is such a variance like red roses on one, bright pink on the other for one example.
However, he does not sound like the typical iphone zombie that usually give reviews.
