She clearly doesn’t understand Steve Jobs. Too many old people working at Apple is slowly bringing down the big ship.

I actually think she did a good job with stores.

Typical ageism comment — I am certain your sorry ass didn’t even watch and listen to the whole interview. She was executing a brilliant vision. Not just pushing out next gen gaming, VR and social media crap you probably OD on daily.

This interview was weird. Like she doesn’t even work at Apple anymore. What was its purpose?

FuckILoveYouTubby Yep. Most likely. But I meant it more like from the interviewer side. Angela was clearly annoyed by the questions and the interview itself was pointless.

quicksite Been following Apple since its inception ….have a major investment in Apple as well…. have you walked into an Apple store and tried to get service recently you trolls? Good luck trying to flag a sales associate…. the only thing she did that’s been good (and the jury’s still out on that) is “Today at Apple” …..

Wow she sounds incredible! Big huge vision — and executing on the big trajectory to use Apple’s tools to better educate and equip future generations. I am only 2 min into this segment, but just hearing her speak so passionately about the Town Square concept where everyone was welcome — not just shoppers — that’s true vision and leadership. Nothing we see from most of Silicon Valley still obsessed by social media and its derivatives. Here is a true leader— and I will have to listen further now to see “what happened?”…At the moment I imagine it was a corporate culture gap between the mission she was executing on and the beancounter culture that Apple seems to have become. I’ll see if that is right, or if I am wrong about why she is leaving.

    Form over function.

After three decades as an Apple user, I’m about to quit for Android and a Windows laptop. The reason, well, it’s taken me an eternity to type this short missive, courtesy of a useless keyboard (2017 MacBook Pro), and there is no way on Earth that I’m prepared to pay nearly 10 times the price difference between an iPhone X and a compatible Android.

Apple products were always overpriced and under-spec’ed, but they were generally well designed and built. Todays iterations are hugely overpriced, badly designed, and poorly constructed. But then, how else would you afford the wages for airheads like Ahrendts. A more loathsome example of corporate babble it’s hard to imagine. Jobs wasn’t immune to the syndrome, but Cook, Ive and the rest of the Cupertino mafia have taken it, and the corporate back-scratching it engenders, to new levels of absurdity.

I’ve had better customer service experiences at Walmart than Apple. I’ve interacted with Apple store employed many times over the years and it’s an exceptionally bad experience most of the time.

So this is the lady that earned more money than Tim Cook? For some reason, I had always envisioned her as a blonde bombshell. But she is just a typical mid-age lady. I think most of the photos circulating in the net shows what she use to look like. She is not aging like a fine wine, I’d say.

I guess those nerdy looking glasses are not doing her any good either.
