They don’t even last that long, too. The crease gets worse over time.

I’ve never been disappointed in a phone as much I was when I irl picked a foldable phone, the crease actually feels like a big defect in the product. Would be amazing when they master the screen fold

It has to fold so it unfolds and you can fold and then unfold it and them fold it again

It’s heavy in your pocket and a crease forms in the middle of your phone overtime not to mention they’re very overpriced no thanks

    • Azreal

      August 9, 2023 at 7:13 pm

The crease is there from day 1. It doesn’t form, it’s just a technology restriction with displays. Can’t be folded flat because it will break it.

No by Prof. That song is pretty much perfect . The whole song is about rejecting an offer/people. What else?

We have more data than any generation in history, yet reality has never felt harder to grasp. Artist Yiyun Kang is on a mission to translate the invisible crises of our time — from vanishing fresh water and collapsing ecosystems to the black box of AI — into physical experiences that people can feel. Art isn’t a luxury, she says. It’s essential to understanding and acting on our bigest problems. (Recorded at TED2026 on April 15, 2026)
