Finally, the Fitbit line makes sense. This will make it so much easier to sell to customers.
The Versa Sense in a nut shell can be described as charge 5 with a bigger screen – then it will just be easier to explain the benefits of the screen and smart watch functions.

+ music playback which the charge 5 is missing

Only the amazefit 2130 is more expensive ????
Fitness band looks always very slick and make you feel very fit and modern
The battery is pretty bad tho of this 1…..they need the 2 weeks

All I wanted was an upgrade for my Versa 1 which is still kicking butt and taking names. This looks to be it.

Scary though: Versa 1 has every feature that was removed for all FitBit watches after the Versa 2. So it has find my phone, spotify, on device storage, 4 day battery life, great screen, SP02, temp, Altimeter. Crazy that they just keep removing features from newer items.

Thanks for watching! Just to clarify you can still totally use the Charge 5 without Fitbit Premium, it will just give you broader views of your sleep/stress data ⌚️

I’ve had Fitbit for a long time think it might be time to try the premium out! Thanks!!

Does the Charge 5 seem to run smoother & faster than the Luxe? I ordered the Luxe because I love how it looks, but I’m getting the impression that it might have a bit of a lag compared to the Charge 5 from your video. Thanks for your reviews, they are really informative.

@TN Mai anecdotally yes it feels faster than the Luxe for sure.

Can you still download charge 5 historical data without premium (like RHR data)? Should be a GDPR standard.

unfortunately no music storage. that would’ve made this the perfect fitness tracker

Tired of companies charging money to use a product you paid for! Subscriptions need to go

I wish it had an Agenda app. I’d like to see a day or so of upcoming events on the device and not just calendar notifications. The Charge 4 has an Agenda app, so this is a downgrade in that respect.

    • Lexy Savvides

      September 21, 2021 at 7:44 pm

Great point! I forgot about the missing Agenda app

I want a wearable that doesn’t look like this. I have an Apple Watch and had a Fitbit in the past, I hate the way they look.

Still no ANT+ support, probably no improved gps, touch only which works how well when sweaty, and now saddled with a battery draining color screen! Hard no.

    Screen bezels are still big.

Looks similar to Whoop 4.0 but with screen & price

Thanks for a nice video but why the old model Charge 4 have a Spotify but not in Charge 5?

  15. Esoteric Ghost

    September 21, 2021 at 7:37 pm

dang, I’m not about the subscription service. thats ridiculous that they do that. not buying because of that. for 10 a month id better get a phone call every week with life coaching.

Thanks for the review, very helpful

I hate those rubber straps. They smell and look ugly. Why can’t the companies makes something like the Apple woven straps that are super comfortable.

  20. DK

    September 21, 2021 at 9:21 pm

Does it allow you to take SpO2 measurements at any time you want? I believe the Fitbit Luxe only took SpO2 measurements when sleeping..

    • Lexy Savvides

      September 21, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Same as the Luxe it’s only during sleep, not spot.

  21. Rafael White

    September 21, 2021 at 10:22 pm

Yeah, it’s not worth it. I’ll stick with my mi band 6

  22. Jake Pham

    September 21, 2021 at 10:36 pm

Can’t wait to see daily readiness it compares to a Whoop strap

  23. SheepleDog

    September 22, 2021 at 12:15 am

Rubbish as usual ..always promising features coming. My Charge 4 never accurately records my sleep

10:16 Sunset Resevoir Park! Great workout spot.

    September 22, 2021 at 1:15 am

Honestly the watch faces look really tacky and ugly, I wish they still allowed you to have a white or monochrome display. I hope you can compare the readiness score metrics to WHOOP, which seems to be directly competing with the analytics feature.
