We got our first look at the new Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Flip 7 FE phones at Samsung Unpacked.

The Z Flip7 (starting at $1,100) features a front screen that extends to the edge of the device, wrapping around two new cameras and powered by a 4,300mAh battery. The Z Flip7 FE is the phone’s slightly cheaper (starting at $900) sibling, but with a design that’s more similar to a Flip6. Managing editor Patrick Holland flips out.

As some one who is a heavy user and drops his phone rarely i don’t recommend it these phones will break even if you baby it many cases but it’s your money also I want to add if you charge with 15 watt charger it still heats up badly and charges super slow

I love those phones , I had 5 already but they don’t last long , one little drop and the screen is ruined, even with a case

@@javierguardado7727I had the flip 6 before and dropped it many times with a case and had no issues.

It should have been 799 but since its just repackaged of flip 6 its 899. Knowing samsung it stays on the market. Price drop around half by end of the year. 😅

Ive used zflips for quite few years but the zflip 6 was a disappointment. Switched to s25 ultra and its wayy better.

Definitely do it! I LOVE my 6, had no problems. You’ll definitely benefit from having waited for the 7. The front screen is so awesome, I use it all the time. Treat yo’self.

i wasnt gonna get it but i folded

  14. @NacefRebhi

    July 12, 2025 at 3:18 pm

The Z Flip FE is a mere Exynos 2400 variant of the Z Flip 6. Well, Samsung is just pushing its chipsets hard.

I can’t wait to get mine. Im sick and tired of glass slabs; a glass square is going to be better for my pocket
