Seems to be a lot of chromatic aberration. Pink and green everywhere especially when you edit it slightly to make it not washed out.

    Well,
Artemis is pretty cool and all, but, the video isn’t great at all.
Camera technology is certainly available for this application.
    Spacex has it figured out.
Maybe nasa doesn’t want us seeing everything they are doing.

720p and heavy video compression was cool… back in the mid 2000’s … For a project budget that is incredibly overblown, kinda disappointing. Looking forward to the hi-res ‘megatons’ of video after it arrives back on Earth!

If all this rebuilding of cameras had to take place for vibration and radiation on circuit boards with IC chips, How did Apollo make it ?

It’s cool that they’re sending the spacecraft around the moon, I think they’re mainly doing it so that they won’t be beaten out by Elon musk. As far as breathtaking images? Well not so breathtaking, but it is what it is.

Why would Nasa hack gopro’s? Theyre Nasa.

  13. abvmoose87

    November 22, 2022 at 10:45 pm

Those images are obviously not from a distance of just 80 miles above the Moon, so why are Nasa saying they are??

  14. abvmoose87

    November 22, 2022 at 10:47 pm

If they were gopro cams why didnt they simply record and stream the entire journey?

  15. abvmoose87

    November 22, 2022 at 10:50 pm

So how many more billions do Nasa need untill they can live stream 1080p 60fps from the moon

Artemis looks fake as Biden as president

Whats the fuss? We have tons of Moon images for decades. Unless previous Apollo photos were fake!

  25. sullivan2339

    November 23, 2022 at 1:09 am

The orginal Apollo and earlier Space program works were driven by The Cold War. Those days are over. Okay we want to prove we can circle the Moon- again- fine- as for MARS- what an egotist waste of money. Fix the integrity of our Elections- Stop Dark Corporate Money from Running our country- Fix the health care system.

What is it with the moon? The first images looked like it was set in the studio, and now the images look computerised? Can’t we get a clear image of the moon in 2022?

I’ve seen better resolution from Minecraft then this picture of the moon, it’s obviously bluring 75% of the picture of the ground on the moon!?!? Why??!?!

  32. pipponium

    November 23, 2022 at 9:21 pm

did they take photographs of the old missions remains? let me guess: no.

  33. sbcap

    November 23, 2022 at 9:27 pm

This a hack job alright. Do you really expect, me anyway, to believe this snow job of people instead of pictures? What pictures, looks like old film to me, and since when, do you have a few pictures for your holy moly space flight. This is more shill than the earlier NASA shildom. Baloney on this “broad” cast. Oh and the Earth next to the Moon, anyone want to explain that one, the Mars marble in the view? But the best is the dark view. So photography has apparently decreased in quality since the 70’s, is that what you want to tell, me anyway? Whooooooohoooo, get Billy Graham out of the top job and bring in some folks who haven’t taken the tea. Come on man!

  34. Brandon B

    November 23, 2022 at 9:29 pm

The only reason NASA was the first deep space human rated craft in so long was because they hobbled SpaceX. Effectively preventing SpaceX from doing it first. Sratship has been ready to fly for quite some time and they’ve been grounded due to FAA and NASA red tape.
Also, why do SpaceX images seem to have higher res images than NASA?

  35. Brian Roberts

    November 23, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Maybe the spacecraft should pass over the lunar landing sites and show whether or not NASA has ever landed on the moon.

  36. mike hanley

    November 23, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Wait, the Earth is the same scale from the moon as the moon is from Earth, can’t be. The Earth would be MUCH BIGGER behind the moon from that camera view, If it sounds and quacks like a duck, it’s a Duck!

  66. Helluvatime

    November 24, 2022 at 2:33 pm

The decisions that NASA makes just baffles me. They spend billions of dollars on a launch to the moon and give the public low res camera footage. The easiest way to get public support is to show them the cool stuff you are doing. Look at the difference with the SpaceX footage and Elon doesn`t need public support. We`ll see maybe the footage stored on the spacecraft is better but I don`t buy that excuse. Come on NASA I`m rooting for you do better.

Why are we circling the moon in 2022 ? Concidering , we already landed (allegedly) on the moon 50 years ago ? does that make sense ? I’m not a conspiracy theorist , just curious what data do they need now to achieve such a simple task ?
