Someone use AI to smooth out his narration. good lord.

      January 5, 2026 at 8:14 pm

Fr. I thought Samsung’s narration was bad this year (Koreans with just okay ESL reading a meaningless corporate script about AI), how did LG manage to make someone with an American accent sound so unfluent? He seems like the kind of person that highlights the entire textbook page or writes entire posts in all caps

    No time stamps?

I just upgraded my tv. The other is 15 years old and still works perfectly. Maybe I’ll get one of those in 2040…😂

They showed a bunch of TV’s with AI and resolution no one can see and no one can afford

I do not understand how your ego can be so big that you prefer to speak with a thick accent that most people won’t understand, stead of hiring someone who can speak with a better dictation. Or at least, take dialect classes.

Firstly, it’s putting a name to a face for employees / investors/ business partners and secondly, it’s not his native language – which he would sound 10x more fluent in and thirdly, the international media tend to report/ write in English

    • @SORAUchiha9

      January 5, 2026 at 7:28 pm

I kind of get that. Also if it’s now AI, AI ,AI. They should use it for translation and he could speak in his native language without any problem

this robot is useless. Barely put towel in the washer.

      January 5, 2026 at 5:00 pm

      Still the beginning of robots

    • @irwanchel

      January 5, 2026 at 8:21 pm

I think robot house maid still useless until 2032 at least. However, automatic driving car level 3 or 4 will be come sooner

  7. @EricGranata

    January 5, 2026 at 4:19 pm

    I don’t need AI in a tv.

    • @_nom_

      January 5, 2026 at 4:55 pm

You do with those horrible Samsung tv remotes a few years back.

    • @funnyberries4017

      January 5, 2026 at 6:25 pm

But how else will LG know what you are watching?

  8. @Evan_Adams

    January 5, 2026 at 4:24 pm

Did LG talk at all about compressors and design of their refrigerators?

  9. @gamer_geek2638

    January 5, 2026 at 4:28 pm

Where is the rgb mini leds ?

  10. @oingpla

    January 5, 2026 at 4:35 pm

    AI watching everyone from everything.

  11. @nickthaskater

    January 5, 2026 at 4:54 pm

I literally clicked on random points of the video and 9 times out of 10 I landed within 2 seconds of “AI” being mentioned.

  12. @rehova

    January 5, 2026 at 5:36 pm

    The wasn’t creepy at all

  13. @_lonath_

    January 5, 2026 at 6:26 pm

Yeah, the TVs don’t need AI but Samsung’s version seems way more useful if it’s coming with it anyway

  14. @endorkugo

    January 5, 2026 at 6:26 pm

im all for AI in general. but these companies are being ridiculous with excessive AI that adds nothing

  15. @darkpowerxo

    January 5, 2026 at 6:31 pm

Couldn’t they find a 20 year old English kid to do the presentation?

  16. @darkpowerxo

    January 5, 2026 at 6:32 pm

Such a good products lost behind bad presentation

  17. @LokiDaFerret

    January 5, 2026 at 6:38 pm

How long will it be before LG gives up on their Signature line in the kitchen? As much as they want to be in my kitchen, it just isn’t needed.

  18. @TnsToad

    January 5, 2026 at 6:46 pm

wait, so LG fixed the compressors in their refrigerators? or did they just add some A.I. to let you know your milk is spoiling because the temp is at 50F.

  19. @khazzyy9846

    January 5, 2026 at 7:01 pm

You don’t understand your audience. If you are aiming at people who have some understanding of AI we need context, what sort of AI are you talking about, what underlying training sets do you use, how do you validate the training sets, how do you implement the outputs? On the other hand, if you are targeting the consumers, don’t bother, they don’t care and are already fed up with having it shoved down their throats -it doesn’t sell, but can alienate.

AI television, AI refrigerators, AI remoted controls, AI smart ovens–what’s next–AI SUPPOSITORIES?!…

  21. @CapivaraPobi

    January 5, 2026 at 7:52 pm

    AI everywhere, damn…

  22. @kawaiidere1023

    January 5, 2026 at 8:15 pm

8:56 I have literally never seen a billboard ad I want to interact with. At most I’ve looked up why something so terrible was posted in an ad.
