I do think they are oversimplifying everything and trying to excuse everything to serve their purpose. However, that’s not to say there aren’t any predatory or extremely questionable practices that Facebook is part of.

I dont think any info should be censored, correct or not. The internet is a place to communicate and see all ideas. I understand the desire to remove harmful information, however, doing this is more dangerous than the misinformation itself. If an idea is bad, it will debated through a global conversation and people can make up their own minds. We are putting all the power in facebook by letting them decide what is true or not and what is seen or not. We allowing giant companies to determine what is truth but that is not their job, it is ours.
